Alex Vidal

Spanish DJ and producer Alex Vidal found a passion for music at a very young age when he learned to play Spanish guitar and piano. He grew up listening a wide range of music from the 80’s & 90’s, the likes of The Cure, Depeche Mode, A-Ha, New Order, The Cult, Nirvana and Metallica, are just some of the bands that shaped his youth. He started to DJ in the early 90’s playing techno, trance & house in local clubs and private parties.

The next step in his musical career came in 2012 when he started to produce his own music. Soon after he had releases on various prestigious progressive labels like Stellar Fountain with ‘Stellarium EP’, Mistique Music with ‘Lost In Your Eyes’, OLD SQL Recordings with ‘Nomads Of The Sky EP’ and Perfecto Records with ‘Wild Beauty’ which was featured on Paul Oakenfolds ‘DJ Box’ in March 2014. This is just the tip of the iceberg as Alex has an already extensive back catalogue, even though he is a relative newcomer to the producing world.

The next step for him will be releases on Bonzai who he has just signed with. So it’s worth keeping an eye on this rising talent.
