Rap A Mood EP

Piston Recordings PR2014136 24 November, 2014

Blansch debuts on Piston with the fine two tracker, Rap A Mood EP.

First up we have Rap A Mood, the intro gets right into the groove with a nice punchy kick and rhythmic percussions that will get the floors moving instantly. The bassline is where it’s at here, deep and pulsating at times then full on in your face. Cool modulated synths bring in a tech flavour to the groove as subtle rap vocals sit in the background giving the sound character. A real smooth slice of house with an oldskool tag, perfect fodder for floors all over.

Make It intros with a cool bass pulse and rolling percussions before a spoken vocal brings a much deeper and rounded bass that dominates the sound beautifully. An organic flavour runs through the track with those warm yet jagged edged synths. The spoken vocal is used well throughout and ties up the sound nicely. A smooth deep and grooving track you will not want to miss.
