Tel Aviv based Polish artist Andre Ofir Shwartz aka Anartist debuts on Bonzai Progressive with the sublime progressive grooves of Atom On A Butterfly. A young up-and-coming artist, Andre has many years of experience in the Israeli underground scene. He can shift between genres with ease, focusing in on more progressive, tech and melodic techno sounds. With a release already under his belt, there is so much more to come from this guy and we’re delighted to have him on board.
Atom On A Butterfly presents a deep, organic progressive vibe. Smooth and rhythmic in contrast to the wailing synth lead and rounded off with a lush plucky bassline and bass drone combo. Subtle melodies flourish as captivating vocals raise the hairs on the back of your neck. An underlying, tense theme emerges that gathers momentum as the groove progresses. A definite club mover that will not disappoint.
Belossia intros with an understated arpeggio and muted kick drum. Various percussions build up before the kicks receive a mighty thump, transforming into some powerful, punchy hits. A deep tension filled bass pad is joined by a more driving, flowing bassline pattern that sets the groove up nicely. Cool vocals sweep through causing goose bumps to rise while melodic synths are introduced. Cascading notes and soft tones create a dynamic that is appealing with a euphoric edge. The break is sublime, building us up, back to the main event where a striking synth stab takes over for the duration. Top notch stuff, not to be missed.
