Adriaan Baussens and Sven van Hove aka Manu Riga are making a huge mark with their brilliantly crafted progressive works. With many remixes and releases under their belt they continue to deliver on the quality front. Next up for these guys is ” Everything Comes To An End” which is backed up with a fine roster of remixers.
Kicking off at a perfect tempo with thick kicks, a strong rolling bassline and surreal melody which creates a dark atmosphere, on the break things take a twist with an ethnic vibe making this a prog monster of a tune!
Next up is Solar Fields aka Magnus Birgersson, a music composer with a litany of releases including 10 solo albums. Magnus raises the benchmark in his mix with trance becoming the focus, pulsating bassline and beautiful sweeping pads add more depth to the melody, a proper progressive trance tune that will for sure be added to many DJ’s lists.
Next Up is a remix by Paduraru Deeptech a well respected producer in many genres. This remix keeps with the darker nature of the original and focuses more on the ethnic vox and swelling pads, excellent groove in the bassline and some cool FX work, a must have for any deeper prog floor
Barcelona based remixers, producers, DJ’s and general experimenters in all electronic music genres, Abi-Q & Raw-E deliver a quality remix of epic proportions. Staying true to the original again we get a pure driving progressive rhythm but this time with a hint of tech thrown in, the simple melody is a big feature and on the break a detuned organ takes the stage with lots of FX and that ever present vox sample.
Finally on remix duties is Nico Parisi, this Belgian based producer and DJ has a well respected history in EDM. Having played at top Belgian club Atomz and produced the band Aqualords, he has also work with the likes of Marcel Woods. Nico delves deeper into prog with his take on this tune. Deep basses and a tight heavy drum and perc section, a steady groove takes hold and will keep you there for the duration, very nice remix.
An impressive line up on this release and we are sure to see more from this exciting duo.
Henrik Kantola aka Chantola is a well versed Finnish producer and we see his new slice entitled Make It Happen backed up with a slew of awesome remixes.
Henrik has been a stalwart in progressive beats for a long time having been on labels like Spinnin Records, Blackhole, Baroque and more recently Bonzai Progressive.
He has appeared on many compilations and remixed lots of tunes under the Green Martian, Camouflage, Fourty 5, Nemesis, Subtraxx and Eyepatch labels. Today Chantola resides on Bonzai Progressive and has delivered a very nice piece of music.
First up we have the Balearic Mix which is full of island pleasures, cool, sophisticated and laid back prog grooves, tight production blends a host of awesome sounds, chunky kick, grooving bass, sultry vocals and swaying synth pads all make for an evening on the terraces.
Matan Caspi drops in to add a hint of tech into the prog house vibe while keeping the coolness and suave of the main sound, very well crafted remix, a little more synth work and some crisp guitar keeps the summer theme alive.
Popular remixing duo Manu Riga gives us their Come Back Remix which delivers a full on prog experience that would fit well on any floor or beach party, constant groove on the bass with those vocals lead up to a break that just exudes summer essence, very powerful remix.
Johny S returns with remix duty on a Chantola track and he delivers as usual, with the focus more on the house side we are treated to an amazing ride, funky bassline and jazzy sax/trumpets make for a big sound for big floors.
Formed by Adriaan Baussens and Sven van Hove in 2004, this talented duo deliver quality progressive sounds. Having signed with Bonzai in 2010 things have been looking up and a slew of remixes followed. With an artist album scheduled for later in 2012 Manu Riga will go from strength to strength.
No Matter What is a classic progressive sound for the modern age with awesome remixes included in this release.
The original is a trancey affair with sweet melodies yet a dark progressive edge, a constant groove with a deep bassline and a haunting vox sample, very tight production as expected.
The awesome Moshic delivers his unique deep progressive house vibe and adds his ever present ethnic sounds to create a truly sublime piece of work which will for sure be on a lot of playlists.
Kintar & Rex produce a stunning take on the original with a huge sound full of progressive flavours, more chunky and grungy in places with an array of FX have added a whole new layer to the sound.
