Portuguese outfit John Deluxe aka Joao Nina and Trippin Fox aka Andre Vieira debut on Piston with the superb Dubvious EP. Since 2016 these two have been churning out top quality vibes together on various labels. Sometimes they go solo but mostly stick together in the studio with outstanding results. The both enjoy DJing around their respective hometowns and further afield with their infectious brand of tech house grooves. Great to have them here and we hope to see more soon.

Italian trio Massi ISX, Rulers and Enrico Bellan debut on Piston Recordings with the superb two tracker entitled Love EP. Massi ISX is a much revered artist in his home country. He has played at many venues including Too Long, Barn Club, Barrakud, Clique Club and more. He has appeared on several quality labels and his music has been also supported by many famous artists such as Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Lee Foss, Stefano Noferini, Leon, Joey Daniel and many more. Rulers aka brothers Mattia and Andrea Orizio spent much of their younger years learning about music by listening to various genres and picking up musical knowledge. After joining forces in the studio they quickly saw releases on labels like Moan, D-Floor, Paul’s Boutique, No Excuse, Lemon-Aid Music and High Pressure with great support from around the world. DJ and producer Enrico Bellan started to produce music for some Spanish and European labels. Immediately his music was played and supported by the greatest DJs in the world including Marco Carola, Neverdogs, Stefano Noferini, Joseph Capriati, Joey Daniel and more. His works have appeared on the likes of Mushroom Smile Records, High Pressure Music, Azul Tunes, Cream Music Records, Lemon-Aid Music and Red Drum Music. A formidable group of quality artists no doubt and we’re delighted to have them here at Piston.
DJ and producer Marcelo De Almeida debuts on Piston Recordings with the superb Dub Motion EP which features three excellent cuts. Having spent his childhood in Canada listening to Hip Hop, he later moved to Portugal where he discovered a whole new world of music in the underground house music scene. After mastering the art mixing he turned his hand at music production and began to delve into deep and tech house. He is the label manager at Raw Level Records and over the years he has dished out a plethora of top notch grooves across several quality labels. We’re delighted to have him here at Piston and we hope to see more in the future.
House music aficionados Discult Soundsystem debut on Piston Recordings with the superb three tracker Onket EP. Known for their super cool parties, their Let’s Discult open air livestreams and groovy sets, we’re delighted to have this talented group on Piston. Onket settles into a deep tech house groove right from the off thanks to a solid drum arrangement and powerful chords. A wonderful bassline enters the fray as an intriguing spoken vocal delivers a narrative to create that deep groovy vibe. The drums and percussions make for a tight rhythmic display that will surely get the floors moving. As the groove powers on the chords become intensive as they get a more prominent stabby hit. Top notch stuff that will not disappoint.
Dutch DJ and producer V.I.O debuts on Piston Recordings with the superb two tracker entitled No More EP. With a penchant for tech house and deep house, this guy has been churning out quality cuts on various labels for the last number of years. His tracks have a unique style and sound and we’re delighted to have him on board.
Eat Dust aka Portuguese DJ and producer Mario Silva is back at Piston with the impressive two tracker – Anomalia EP which is the follow up to his early 2017 slice Come Together EP. Over the last number of years this guy has released some excellent cuts on various labels including Obscura Recordings, Plastik Galaxy and Dubtek Records to name just a few. He has also shown up on Monog Records back in 2014 with Portrait Illusions and a remix on HedUbble’s Animal Feeling as well as an appearance on Tech House Toolbox 3 for Bonzai Progressive. Always a pleasure to hear new material and we hope to be hearing more soon.
Buenos Aires based DJ and producer Max Biocca debuts on Piston with Calvin Is Back, a pumping two track tech house joint that will rock the floors, no doubt. In the last couple of years Max has seen several releases on labels including Beatamin Recordings and Balkan Connection Tech. His production style delivers quality vibes with every release and we’re delighted to have him on board at Piston.
Ilario Laggetta returns to Piston Recordings as a solo artist with his 088 EP. His debut for us came back in the Summer of 2015 alongside studio partner Alessio Rizzo with the superb Breakfast In Lebanon. Ilario found music early in his life and in 1988 he stepped into the DJ world and began a magical journey that would take him through various clubs and top spot at various DJ competitions. His sets deliver a cool blend of rhythmic tech house with melodic touches while his music carries its own unique characteristic. Great to see him at Piston once more.
Madrid based DJ and producer Mike Denitz returns to Piston Recordings for his second stint with the superb It’s Here EP. His last effort here – Come Back EP – proved popular among many and we’ve no doubt this one will follow suit. Since then he has released on several labels as well as featuring on My House Is Your House 14 for our parent label Bonzai Progressive. Nice to see him back for more. This three tracker serves up a real nice tech house treat that gives us plenty of reasons to hit the floors.

Italian DJ and producer Mirko Gorelli is back at Piston and is joined by fellow country-man, DJ and producer Pierpaolo Pierotti on the superb Bassone UK which is backed with Pump Up The Bass. Mirko’s last outing was back in 2016 with Travel which proved popular among many. Delighted to see him back at Piston as we just love what this guy does with music. Pierpaolo Pierotti spent his adolescence listening to house music between clubs and music cassettes. His journey begins as P.R. and event organizer leading him to work with some of the best Italian clubs including Aqva Discovillage Numana, ECU Rimini, Syncopate and Prince Riccione.
Italian DJ and producer duo Riccardo Lippi and Marco Bottari make up Stranger Boys and they debut on Piston Recordings with the superb two tracker – Industry. Stranger Boys also known as Strangers Boys was brought to life in 2013 by Riccardo aka Ricky KK as a project to in electronic music, particularly tech house, minimal, deep house and techno. In the beginning he saw the project as a solo effort but with the idea of integrating new artists with similar interests. Towards the end of 2015 Marco Bottari joined and things started to get interesting for the pair. In 2016 they played for the first time together on Ibiza Radio before several releases came out on various labels. Lots more to come from these guys, well worth keeping an eye on.
Argentinean DJ and producer duo Agustin Dutari and Mauro Mosciaro debut on Piston with the tech house fuelled three tracker Behind The Beat. These guys are two clear examples of how Argentinean dance culture is shifting and moving, especially towards the rhythms of house. In the studio they combine their skill sets to produce only the finest quality beats and grooves. Agustin utilises his DJ skills, which he has presented at top clubs including Pacha, Ibiza and in showcases for Ibiza Global Radio. He has also travelled the beautiful Balearic Islands playing at different beach clubs and bars such as Sands, Delano, White, Magic Boat Party and Veto Social Club. Mauro combines his career as a music producer with DJing. He runs his own studio and when he’s not laying down house laden beats he’s working with bands and solo artists as a sound engineer. Working together for the last couple of years they are able to hone in on each other’s ideas with some very nice results indeed. A rising force in the South American scene and beyond, this duo is well worth keeping an eye on.
