Irish DJ and producer Mike Walshe aka Satinka is back at Bonzai Progressive with a tantalising progressive breaks groover entitled A Hopeful Dawn. Based in Perth, Australia, Mike focuses in on the underground side of Trance, Psytrance and Progressive with his music being supported on many worldwide radioshows. His last outing Deep Within EP came back at the end of 2015 and gained great support among the community with its mesmeric grooves and surreal qualities. Delighted to see him back once more and no doubt we’ll be seeing even more in the future.

As the 2016 Winter Music Conference nears we decided to roll out our biggest WMC compilation to date. 70 tracks and remixes – from almost as many artists – covering all sorts of genres from Deep House to Techno and Progressive House to Tech House with sprinklings of Psy and Trance thrown in. We tapped into our vast catalogue of tracks from labels such as Bonzai Progressive, Bonzai Basiks, JOOF, Sounds R Us Recordings, Piston Recordings, Progrez, Green Martian and Eyepatch Recordings to come up with what we think is a true representation of today’s and tomorrow’s electronic music scene. Artists such as Airwave, Manu Riga, Van Czar, Phi Phi, John 00 Fleming, Blufeld, Matt Holliday, Orlando Voorn, Gai Barone, Nico Parisi, Bonnetti, Diego Alvez, Oz Romita, Crocy and House Lovin’ Criminals to name just a few are all on hand to deliver quality sounds that will definitely keep floors rocking all night long.

Welcome to our brand new venture, In The Mix. With so much great music around we thought it was time to offer a new showcase where we could spread only the best music far and wide. To help us along we will be recruiting some top DJ’s to deliver the goodness. We are proud to announce our very first In The Mix – 001, from none other than one of the most inspiring and gifted artist’s of our time, Airwave. When we think of an artist who has remained fully committed to the true origins of musical interpretation then this guy’s name is always one of the first to crop up. He retains such integrity in everything he touches and continues to inspire a generation of music lovers with his special brand of Progressive and Trance. His latest incarnation, A Touch Of Grace is riding high on popular charts and is seeing a lot of playlist time across the world. This 2 part mix is the perfect medium for Airwave to impart his vast musical knowledge onto our senses and allow us to go deep into our souls and discover inner feeling we never even knew we had.
