Electronic music veteran Rick Pier O’Neill is at the helm this week, marking his 5th stint on Bonzai Basik Beats with a bit of a producer set. Every time he graces the decks for us, it’s a special time. In the mix this week you can expect to hear top tracks from Nico Parisi, Matan Caspi, Stan Kolev, Michael & Levan And Stiven Rivic, Several Spirits, Ugur Pato & Volkman Erman, Joy Marquez, D-Fake and Anthony G with Rick playing a part in either collaborative, remixer or original mode, on each and every track in the set.

The on fire and very much in demand Rick Pier O’Neil returns to Bonzai Progressive with the fantastic Itzamna. Having started to DJ at just 14, he soon found he had an addiction to sound and went on to be a sound engineer building his first studio at just 16. Working with major labels he built a solid rep and gained Billboard success. Since 2006 he has delivered a vast amount of quality releases on top labels all over the world and his own RPO Records. He has also seen much of his work appear on many Bonzai compilations over the last couple of years as well as several remixes and original works which always gain great support. Always a pleasure having Rick here at BP, and we hope to hear more from him soon.

Rick Pier O’Neil heads up the Bonzai Basik Beats guest spot this week with a blistering progressive house set to get the weekend under way. A stalwart on the scene for over a decade, Rick enjoys a massive following of music lovers. He consistently churns out quality tracks on several labels and never disappoints. Tonight’s mix features tracks and remixes from Mr Zee, Aeikus, Stan Kolev, Stephen Jolk, Michael & Levan And Stiven Rivic, Jerome Isma-Ae and some choice cuts from Rick’s own repertoire.

Nico returns to Bonzai Progressive with, Mississippi, alongside two excellent remixes. This one follows, Liberta, from the Summer of 2019, and stands to be yet another well received cut. For many years he’s been at the forefront of dance music as both a DJ and producer. It all started with a DJ gig at the infamous Atmoz club, from there he enjoyed success playing at Belgium’s top venues as well as travelling the world. He has also brought his skills to many festivals with regular appearances including Bonzai Retro, Legacy Festival, Tomorrowland, Pukkelpop and a host of other notable events. His foray into the production world started with a demo he sent to Antler Subway which was met with success when he saw his tracks championed across the world by the likes of Tiesto, Oakenfold, Cox, Van Buuren and many more. After a period of time with EMI he signed an exclusive contract with the legendary Bonzai Progressive where his brand of smooth, deep, progressive vibes would shine. Nico now boasts a hugely impressive catalogue of original works and remixes which continues to grow with every expertly crafted construction.

This one marks the second effort from these guys as a duo on Bonzai Progressive, following the superb Lost Elements. Rick and Chris co-own Art&Fact Records and Chris also worked on RPO Records. Chris’ music has been championed by many top jocks and producers over the years and his style of producing music always delivers a unique flavour. Accomplished French native Rick started DJing at just 14 years old, at 16 he already became a sound engineer and built his first home studio. He quickly gained a reputation as a talented artist and travelled to the US where he became embedded into the music scene there. He runs the popular Vesta Records with Manu Riga as well as other labels. Rick is a celebrated, hard working artist and it’s always a pleasure having him here.
