Franco is a DJ in his home town of Buenos Aires where he appears regularly, playing out tight sets to a wanting crowd. He has recently moved into production with a tendency to lean towards the progressive sound with a distinctive tech flavour. We don’t know too much about this guy just yet, but we have no doubt his name will soon be recognised and associated with quality vibes.
LA, California based DJ and producer Ian Nash debuts on Bonzai Progressive, delivering a trio of solid progressive house grooves with The New Black. Born in 1993, Ian was first exposed to electronic music at the age of seventeen when he went to Ultra Music Festival in Miami. He was immediately hooked, and went on to DJ at his college radio station, winning the west-coast division of Tiesto’s College Invasion Tour DJ Competition in 2013. After college, he began producing trance music under the name Cloudchaser, releasing his first EP Across the Sky, on Above All Records in 2018. A trip that same year to Dirtybird Campout turned him into a raving fan of house music. Under the name Ian Nash, he combines his love for house with melodic elements, taking listeners on unprecedented journeys through groove, both at home and in the club. We’re delighted to have him on board.
DJ Dag and Matthew Kramer return to Bonzai Progressive with more top-notch progressive grooves to wreck the floors this Summer. These guys have decades of experience and their respective journey through electronic music are impressive and inspiring. DJ Dag aka Dag Lerner is best known as one half of early 90’s pioneering duo Dance 2 Trance alongside Rolf Elmer. He was of course responsible for many other hits in various groups and for lighting up the floors at the Dorian Gray and other venues in Germany and across Europe including Space Ibiza and Cocoon. Matthew Kramer aka Matthias Kramer became interested in electronic music from a young age. He also graced the decks at Dorian Gray and has also plied his trade at many venues in Germany and beyond. Matthew and Dag have been in collaboration for many years with a wealth of top tracks on several labels. They’ve produced a plethora of tracks as solo artists and as part of groups that provided the soundtrack to a generation of clubbers and, it’s clear they haven’t finished just yet. No doubt we’ll be seeing more from these two.
UK based producer Anthony Yarranton is back at Bonzai Progressive with the fantastic Aircode, which follows his last effort here, Meridian, from the Summer of 2018. Anthony has been an active producer since 2010. His portfolio of work, released on labels such as Proton, Silk, Perfecto Black, Vapour, Transfused Records and Baroque, has gathered support from a wide range of world-famous DJ’s, resulting in live performances in many parts of the UK and Europe. After a short break from producing and a relocation, he returned to his roots presenting a new, fresh, uptempo progressive style that embodies the late 90’s and early 00’s classic sound.
Scott Rotton debuts on Bonzai Progressive with the excellent Acid Souls. Scott’s passion for electronic music started in the 90’s, he grew up in the UK listening to 90’s trance. Gatecrasher One was on his doorstep and that’s naturally where he spent most of his early clubbing days, this influence can clearly be seen in his music productions today. Understanding the intricacies of club music has helped Scott become a truly versatile DJ, because of this he has been a staple DJ for some of the world leading brands including 5 consecutive years for Space Ibiza On Tour. His productions are often a modern blend of techno, progressive house and trance, carefully infused into a precisely crafted sonic package. A pleasure to have him on board.
Ukrainian DJ and producer Ruslan Haievyk aka MacroVision returns to Bonzai Progressive with the superb Moonbiturate which features a remix under his newly formed Haievyk persona. This one follows his collab with Isels and their excellent Radiance and the equally impressive Heartbeat which was a debut for his Haievyk project. Ruslan’s love for electronic music started with The Prodigy which got him hooked. He also likes soft and powerful sounds with melodic parts. He has seen releases on several labels from across the northern hemisphere and he has won a number of music-based competitions in the last several years. His music has seen airplay on many radio stations including Kiss FM, DJFM, DFM and BBC Radio and his DJ sets are known to bring an energy to the floor and for being immersive and dynamic.
Belgian DJ and producer Karim Sghaier aka Karim S returns to Bonzai Progressive alongside fellow countryman Lounasan with the superb Indian Summer. No strangers to BP, the guys first joined us back in 2016 with the excellent Pilots Of The Millennium and, after a few remixes, Karim was back with the impressive Cirao in 2018. Karim started out with his musical career in the early 1990’s singing and acting in theatre while also learning the piano and synthesizer, nourishing his love of music. He also began to buy his first records and shortly thereafter was inspired by Chicago house music and Detroit techno. He soon started to DJ at parties in his local area before breaking out and playing all over Belgium. This brought him to Topradio’s Gemini show every Tuesday evening before picking up his first residency at Bassment In Motion and Underground Techno Party. He has appeared on stage with many top jocks and during his sets he showcases his skills by using three decks while using a Roland TR-909 drum machine. Lounasan was fascinated with electronic music from an early age, always creating new sounds. Over the last several years he has been using all his free time to explore visual and audible impressions, attempting to capture certain atmospheres in certain places around the world. Great to have both back for more.
Warung aka DJ, producer duo Aaron Hopkins and Dillon Ames debut here at Bonzai Progressive with the excellent Matahari. While riding mopeds around busy Bali intersections one half of this duo was intrigued by an Indonesian concept of Warung meaning small family run business. It quickly became apparent how intrinsic Warungs were to the culture, they were self-made, the lifeline of the family, and an ever-lasting legacy to carry on. The concept of Warung became the perfect meaning for their sound and project. Aaron and Dillon decided to put aside their solo projects and together cultivate a rich sound, from the ground up, with the intention of starting an organic musical identity. The cultivation continues but with each groove constructed, they continue to push forward into a new space that warrants a mix of old and new. After several productions and collaborations this duo knows their way around the studio and continue to bring more dance floor ready grooves to a thriving scene. Great to have them on board.

Ruslan Haievyk aka MacroVision returns to Bonzai Progressive under his Haievyk moniker with the superb three tracker entitled Heartbeat. We last saw Ukrainian DJ and producer Ruslan back in March 2019 with the excellent Radiance alongside Isels. His love for electronic music started with The Prodigy which got him hooked. As ever, it’s great to hear his newest efforts and, as usual they do not disappoint.
Nico Parisi is up next on Bonzai Progressive, delivering another superb slice of progressive goodness. Fresh off the back of his remix for Night Shift Master’s Gravity, Nico certainly knows how to churn out quality vibes. For many years he’s been at the forefront of dance music as both a DJ and producer. It all started with a DJ gig at the infamous Atmoz club, from there he enjoyed success playing at Belgium’s top venues as well as travelling the world. He has also brought his skills to many festivals with regular appearances including Bonzai Retro, Legacy Festival, Tomorrowland, Pukkelpop and a host of other notable events. His foray into the production world started with a demo he sent to Antler Subway which was met with success when he saw his tracks championed across the world by the likes of Tiesto, Oakenfold, Cox, Van Buuren and many more. After a period of time with EMI he signed an exclusive contract with the legendary Bonzai Progressive (Bonzai Records) where his brand of smooth, deep, progressive vibes would shine. Nico now boasts a hugely impressive catalogue of original works and remixes which continues to grow with every expertly crafted construction.
