Ricardo makes the jump over on our more melodic driven progressive imprint Green Martian with the stunning two track slice titled Lily. With a raft of top notch releases over on Bonzai Progressive, we’re delighted to have him at GM where we know his more polished, harmonious sounds will thrive. We last saw Ricardo alongside his formidable studio partner and friend Gabriel West with their Tonic EP which found itself appearing on many charts and playlists. A versatile artist with a diverse skillset, he certainly knows how to work a track. No doubt we’ll be seeing lots more from this guy both solo and in collaboration, for now though enjoy these two super tracks.
Cypriot artist George Ellinas is back at Green Martian with Hide Away. This is his GM debut after he appeared over on our flagship label Bonzai Porgressive with Illusionize back in 2016. His musical voyage started at a very early age with classical piano lessons and the study of music theory. He then proceeded to study music production at Berklee College of Music in Boston USA, and also one of the major turning points for his music journey was working at the legendary Boston Beat Record Store. As well as being heavily involved in electronic music, George also plays in various bands around the island of Cyprus as a keyboardist. He has been recording music for the last 20 years and has also done arrangement and production work for a number of other artist and also his running his own Record Label Sanille Recordings.
Bulgarian producer Allan Zax debuts on Green Martian with the superb two track EP entitled Daybreak. Allan has a unique sound which he moves between genres, always focusing on quality and ensuring maximum impact. Nowadays he mostly puts his energy into deep grooves, jazz and progressive house music. He also produces under many different aliases and has appeared on labels like Dutchie Music, Grouper Recordings and more. Great to have him on board at GM.
Alexey Koptev a.k.a. St. Petersburg based DJ and producer joins Green Martian with the superb Dancing Under The Stars which features three solid melodic progressive cuts. A newcomer to the production scene, Alexey’s passion for electronic music began in the 2000’s when he was 16 years old. His distinctive feature is the creation of an enchanting atmosphere on the dance floor and clockwork melodies wrapped up in a steady tempo. While DJing his musical selections are distinguished by an easy, but at the same time, in-depth atmospheric sound. The desire not to stand in one place, makes him immerse himself in the search for a new dynamic sound, for the redoubling of the modern public with a special variety. He has dabbled with various genres but now Alexx has chosen Deep and Progressive House, as over time his musical preferences have changed from fast rhythms to more moderate ones, with a deep bass line, melodic synths and ambient overflows.
Romanian producer Lucian Dragomir debuts here at Green Martian with the fantastic Oceans Lab which is backed up with the equally fantastic Reflekt. A relative newcomer on the scene, Lucian brings a real fresh sound bursting with raw, dirty sounds that grab your attention. Two very interesting cuts that will definitely turn a few heads.
Estonia based Kristjan Koemets is back on Green Martian with another colourful trip into progressive in the form of his newest slice entitled Slowly Drifting Into The Night EP. It was back in 2015 when we last saw him with his Observers EP. Prior to this he had cuts on Green Martian in 2010 and on Progrez in 2008 with Old Castle then in 2009 with Reflective EP. Remixes also came thick and fast during this period for artists such as Blufeld, Arto Kumanto, Joost Glazenburg, L.A.V.I, D.E.E.P and Zakat Project. Great to see this guy back at the helm and we hope to see more in the future.
One Man Groove aka Ezra De Reus returns to Green Martian with Parallel Love. Ezra began DJing around 1989-90 and was mainly playing Hardcore, this soon led to Techno and Trance and ultimately to Progressive vibes. In 2001 he temporarily stopped DJing and started producing with his first releases coming out on No Bounds Records. A great music lover, we are delighted to see him back for more.
Ukranian DJ and producer Ruslan Haievyk aka MacroVision debuts on Green Martian with the beautiful deep progressive grooves on the three tracker Aurora EP. His love for electronic music started with The Prodigy which got him hooked. He also likes soft and powerful sounds with melodic parts. He has seen releases on several labels from across the northern hemisphere and he has won a number of music based competitions in the last few years. His music has seen airplay on many radio stations including Kiss FM, DJFM, DFM and BBC Radio. His DJ sets are known to bring an energy to the floor and for being immersive and dynamic. A top talent in his field and we are delighted to have him on board.
St. Petersburg based producer debuts on Green Martian with the fantastic Earth Resonance. Since graduating from music school Fashion Police became interested in electronic music. He has a unique approach to writing his own music and he uses his 10 years of music school experience as his basis. In 2008 he got his first release with Inside Me on 4 Seasons and since then there is no stopping this seriously talented artist. With affections for multiple genres, his work has been supported by a broad spectrum of DJ’s around the world. Delighted to have him on board and no doubt we’ll be seeing more in the future.
Cryss shows up on our Green Martian imprint with the superb My Scary Dream which follows his debut slice Simple Pleasure on Bonzai Progressive at the start of 2017. Cryss comes from a musical family and this exposure has nourished his passion for music. He learned guitar and keyboards before finding his way into DJing and then producing. Nice to see him back and hopefully we’ll hear more from him soon.
Cologne based DJ and producer Nepou debuts on Green Martian with the fantastic Regentanz EP. His music is characterized by many stylistic features of diverse genres including progressive house among others. The musical sphere ranges from dreamy, uplifting and playful melodies to mystic, melancholic and trippy sounds. The common components of all his tracks are his stylistic synth sounds, a deep atmosphere with the intention to send his listeners on a journey. Nepou started playing piano at age 8 and had lessons for 9 years. Since then, music has always played a very important role in his life. Finally, he got in contact with the production of electronic music for the first time in 2009. Shortly afterwards, he began to produce music himself with an Akai MPK 49 and Ableton Live. From this point on, Nepou’s style was subject to a constant change until it became what it is today. Since the beginning of 2017 he has seen several releases on various labels, this guy is only getting started, much more to come in the future for sure.
B2brothers & PhilKB mark their Green Martian debut with the impressive Trip EP. These guys join forces once again and deliver two solid cuts for the floors. Carlo Gomes and Anthony Liuzzi make up B2brothers, they grew up together in Bari, Italy and they share a passion for music. They are resident jocks at Il Trappeto and have played alongside several top names including Riva Starr, Luca Agnelli, ItaloBros, The Martinez Brothers, Louie Vega, Dennis Ferrer and many others. In April 2017 they released their first track as B2brothers on My Choice Recordings which was quickly followed by a cut on Purple Sun Records. On 30th April 2017 they played at one of the best known festivals in the world, the SunBreak Malta Club MTV. PhilkB is a musician and composer who loves experimenting with new sounds and ways of making music. For many years he has devoted himself to the research and realization of personal projects and now he feels he has reached that place where he can integrate live elements with ambient and. His first few tracks have been with B2brothers and together they are proving themselves a powerful force with much more to come in the future.
Slovenian artist Gamut aka GmT returns to Green Martian with the excellent Godspeed EP. His last outing here – Closer EP, gained great support and no doubt this one will follow suit. Gamut is the product of a very musical family having taken to this art from an early age with a venture in drums and percussion instruments. His teenage years were spent performing with bands and in 2000 he entered into the world of EDM with his first listen to a progressive CD. It wasn’t too long after that he started to DJ and ultimately produce his own sounds, many releases followed on many labels and here we see this diverse talent shine with more already lined up for the future.
Madrid based artist Jesus Gonzalez aka Jacob Singer shows up on our Green Martian imprint with the superb Briah EP which follows his stint over on Bonzai Progressive with Ain Sof EP, Marduk and My Inner EP. Jacob started out in music playing the guitar and was heavily influenced by rock and metal bands for many years. After he discovered electronic music however, he soon realised that this is where his passion lay. Now a veteran on the progressive scene he has churned out many noteworthy releases on various labels.
