Portugal based, Brazilian DJ, producer Matheus Ferreira debuts on Bonzai Progressive with the fantastic Get Away, which features two solid remixes from Matan Caspi and AudioStorm. Matheus has been producing music since 2017. He is an artist with focus, he’s attended many clubs and festivals, getting a feel for the sound so he can find his own way and uniqueness. He is inspired by melodic and progressive nuances of House and Techno. Being part of huge clubs and parties in Brazil and Portugal, he is always ready for a great performance, knowing how to read the dance floor and getting the audience to immerse in his musical experience.
Maltese DJ, producer CaThY K aka Cathy K Attard, debuts on Bonzai Progressive with the superb Saraswati. Cathy has been DJing for the past 15 years and producing for the past 4 years. She incorporates styles such as house-tech house-afro house and progressive, melodic house and plays in the most frequented clubs and events alongside top Maltese and foreign DJs. In her free time, she spends time at the studio making music, her productive style incorporates various sounds however her major passion is creating various rhythms with ethnic and African percussions. For her, producing is her therapy since she loves getting lost in music to feel the joyful emotions that stir into her chest. In 2019 one of her tracks named, Mohabbat made it into the charts at Beatport among other portals. She has much more planned for the future, so keep an eye and an ear out for this talented artist.
Analog Jungs aka Argentinean DJ, producer duo Claudio Cornejo and Gustavo Ruarte debut on Bonzai progressive with the superb, Plectrum. These talented young people have received great recognition from digital stores and in their short career they already have releases on several top labels. In their constant growth in so little time, they have managed to position themselves among the names most sought after by the record companies. They have a style that fuses Progressive, Tech and Deep House sounds, with great sonic versatility and ideal rhythms for the dance floor, influenced by artists such as Guy J, Dmitry Molosh, Henry Saiz, and Cid Inc. Their music is championed around the world with top jocks offering support. Great to have the guys on board, and we hope to see more in the future.
Scott Rotton is back on Bonzai Progressive with the fantastic, Into The Light. This one follows his debut, Acid Souls, which was very well received indeed. Scott’s passion for electronic music started in the 90’s, he grew up in the UK listening to 90’s trance. Gatecrasher One was on his doorstep and that’s naturally where he spent most of his early clubbing days, this influence can clearly be seen in his music productions today. Understanding the intricacies of club music has helped Scott become a truly versatile DJ, because of this he has been a staple DJ for some of the world leading brands including 5 consecutive years for Space Ibiza On Tour. His productions are often a modern blend of techno, progressive house and trance, carefully infused into a precisely crafted sonic package, this is something he delivers consistently.
Andrew Cash is back with another superb offering on Bonzai Progressive in the form of his latest two tracker titled, X Cape, which follows the fantastic, vocal driven, Time. Over the last number of years, he has carved out a solid niche in the narrow gap between trance and progressive. Known for creating dreamy, uplifting melodies and steady basslines, his works have gained a great deal of support from top jocks and artists alike including Paul Van Dyk, Manuel Le Saux, Dash Berlin and Armin Van Buuren. Always a delight when his latest works come through the office.
Madrid based artist Jesus Gonzalez aka Jacob Singer makes a welcome return to Bonzai Progressive with the superb 8 Years. It’s been a while since he was last here for us, but as always, the wait is well worth it. Jacob started out in music playing the guitar and was heavily influenced by rock and metal bands for many years. After he discovered electronic music however, he soon realised that this is where his passion lay. Now a veteran on the progressive scene he has churned out many noteworthy releases on various labels and it’s always great to have him here.
Nico returns to Bonzai Progressive with, Mississippi, alongside two excellent remixes. This one follows, Liberta, from the Summer of 2019, and stands to be yet another well received cut. For many years he’s been at the forefront of dance music as both a DJ and producer. It all started with a DJ gig at the infamous Atmoz club, from there he enjoyed success playing at Belgium’s top venues as well as travelling the world. He has also brought his skills to many festivals with regular appearances including Bonzai Retro, Legacy Festival, Tomorrowland, Pukkelpop and a host of other notable events. His foray into the production world started with a demo he sent to Antler Subway which was met with success when he saw his tracks championed across the world by the likes of Tiesto, Oakenfold, Cox, Van Buuren and many more. After a period of time with EMI he signed an exclusive contract with the legendary Bonzai Progressive where his brand of smooth, deep, progressive vibes would shine. Nico now boasts a hugely impressive catalogue of original works and remixes which continues to grow with every expertly crafted construction.
Relaunch returns to Bonzai Progressive with a delicious new album titled Anja which consists of 10 beautifully woven tracks that will captivate the mind, body and soul. Having wowed us with his last album, Maybe, this guy continued to deliver the goods with everything he churned out. Relaunch was inspired by the legendary Dorian-Gray parties at the Frankfurt Airport and soon became interested in all kinds of electronic music in the early 90’s. Starting as a passionate club goer, he moved to DJing and ultimately to producing and remixing with a high creative output. His sets are a mixture of atmospheric and impulsive sounds in which he knows how to rock and lead the crowd and to give them their kick. His brand of energetic and atmospheric sounding progressive house won over legions of fans and brought him to even greater heights. He also remains one of the most sought-after producers’ and remixers on the scene, working with international artists and labels. We are delighted once again to be releasing another one of his studio albums and we hope to see much more in the future.
Phi Phi and Manu Riga join forces once again to bring us two distinctly unique tracks on Voyage a Goa. This one is the duo’s second stint in the studio together and once again the chemistry is magical as you will witness. Philippe and Adriaan are both stalwarts for us having provided a plethora of original and remix works, with consistent quality, over many years. Their tracks are championed around the world and both can boast a dedicated following. It’s a pleasure once again to release another fine slice from these masters of their trade.
Manu Kenton joins the Bonzai Progressive roster with the fantastic, For My Darling. Manu started with his own weekly show on radio Galaxy in 1993. In 2002 he got offered a residency in one of the greatest techno clubs in Belgium, LAGOA, smashing the dance floor every single Saturday with passion and determination. This led to securing gigs at all the top spots including festivals and mega parties. In 2005, still focused on his proper hard techno style with high quality productions, Manu got to the top and became the founder of Frenchtek. He signed multiple tracks to top labels and climbed the charts on major portals. He is now a master in the art of mixing and producing and resident in the major Liberty White parties where he gets his own events called THE MANU KENTON REUNION.
Serbian DJ, producer Darko Lobor aka Lobor D debuts on Bonzai Progressive with the excellent Sunbeam EP. Darko boasts a distinctive sound which is a blend of old school and contemporary progressive house motifs that always strive to take the listener on a robust and fantastically colourful journey. Since 2012 he’s been putting on events at his residency in Pancevo, collaborating with a host of other DJ’s from across Europe. Another one of his passions is the development of the local and regional electronic music scene. Aiming to bring the Techno sound home, he started out as part of the team that was collaborating with EXIT festival on organizing promotional parties while EXIT fest was still its infancy. Later on, he joined the Sound of Ibiza organization and radio show by the same name that was both organizing electronic music events and promoting local talent by teaming them up with the best artists from all over Serbia. Working on empowering authors and musicians alike, he was also part of the fair share organization which launched an online distribution platform for producers, musicians, and bands. For the past several years now, he is a founding member of the ASAP DJ organization which is bringing together all electronic music artists from the city of Pancevo, hosting and promoting local events.
