Venice

Piston Recordings PR2014120 4 August, 2014

UK based dirtFlush debuts on Piston with Venice. dirtFlush released his first single Rock The Disco on Lantus Records and was soon riding high on download charts. Here we are treated with two deep fuelled tracks that will get the floors pumping no doubt.

First up we have Venice which intros with a nice punchy kick with a bubbling bass beginning to form underneath. Classic percussions provide a smooth rhythmic flow as house chords start to fade through. The chords are short stabby hits that really give that true sense of a deep house groove. The break lets those stabs loose as they stretch and modulate giving off a much more bouncier vibe. Top notch debut and a definite must have.

180 Degrees intros with a muted kick alongside subtle percussions. Deep warm notes begin to fill the space as a pulsing bass comes through with the assistance of some expertly tweaked vocal samples. The deep notes begin a fantastic journey as they are filtered and modulated leaving behind a minimal groove. Cool FX add smooth textures to the sound and we are soon locked right into the groove. Great stuff that will get any party started.
