Night Shift Master aka Vlad Medvedev returns to Bonzai Progressive with his seventh release for us, the superb, Remedy, which follows his last stint here with Space Motion. Israeli DJ and producer Vlad has been churning out some tasty cuts over recent years. He is shaping his own sound with his unique signature of cosmically charged grooves standing out. He started to study in a music school when he was 6 years old. After completing his studies at the music school (focusing on Violin and Piano), he graduated from the music academy of his home town, when he was 16. While getting his B.A degree in audio technology and sound engineering, he produced music in the styles of Deep House, Tech House, Progressive House, Progressive Trance. Vlad has been also composing music for movies, commercials, performs as a DJ and participates in many other music projects. During his DJ sets, Vlad incorporates performance that are special and unique.

First up we have the title track, Remedy, which dishes out a solid, pumping progressive mover. A tougher edged groove is evident with a deep rumbling bass at the core, topped off with fiery synths and a dark, sinister spoken vocal. Tight drums keep the rhythm in check alongside flurries of percussions. The break goes much deeper, creating a dystopian scene before the track climaxes to the sound of those gnarly synths. Top-notch stuff, not to be missed.

The companion piece, Muzik, also carries a tough edged groove. The intro boasts strong, punchy kick drums with sharp claps and crisp hats joining in. A deep synth pad fades up, creating tension, before fragmenting into a rhythmic sequence. Dark vocals adorn the groove here also while grizzly synths and droning basses spread throughout the track. Straight out of the underground, this one is the perfect builder in any late-night set.
