New York To Ibiza

Already we have another release from the recently revamped Tribal Warriors aka M.I.K.E., with New York To Ibiza”. His last outing on Basiks “08” had a great reaction and now we are back for more with this one which also comes with no less than four stunning remixes.

The Original Mix is a full on tech fest, a percussive intro with a huge chunky kick drops us into a superb synth driven riff. Blasting into the main track we are greeted with a throbbing bass that forces those feet to dance as the rhythm takes over. Great manipulation on the vocal samples adds texture to the sound, top stuff and a must for those late night techno parties.

Petro Chatzopoulos aka Petri Petro steps up with the first of two remixes, Petri is back fresh after his first stint on Basiks with the “Revival EP”. His Left Pace remix takes the tech sound to new heights as the sounds combine beautifully to form a tech stomper. The big focus throughout the track is the synth work as it weaves its magic and hooks you in. The huge bass reverberates and is complimented well with the kicks and rhythmic percussions, great stuff.

Petri’s next mix on this release is his Right Pace remix, a much more chunky affair with a deeper bass that packs a huge punch and will give any sub woofer a run for its money. The percussive elements form a solid rhythm as the track meanders at a steady pace, top notch stuff!

Onofrio Conte is back after his “Endless Love EP” gained support from many jocks around the world, here he serves up his 909 Remix and delivers a track filled with all the gusto of techno. Superb arrangements on the drums and percussion carve out smooth rhythms while the bass sits back menacingly waiting to pounce. Such a well rounded groove and a definite must on playlists all over.

Lastly we have Rion Oidua on remix with a fantastic pumping sound. The intro sets the track up nicely with a cool tribal feel from the percussions, the kicks soon arrive and pack a good thump. When the bass kicks the track gets a huge lift with all the elements coming together beautifully. Superb synth FX sweep in and out of the sound solidifying the groove, brilliant effort and one to watch for sure.
