Back in 2017 we were treated to a sublime album filled with sonic gems in the form of Narel’s Losing Adequacy. Now in 2018 after much support for the album, we’re delighted to announce six remixes of tracks specially selected to bring maximum impact on the floors. Nick Simmons began to experiment with music and this hobby became a bit more serious in 2010 when his first tracks were released on the Bonzai Progressive imprint Fourty 5. His sound is rooted in oldskool progressive, progressive house, ambient and downtempo and this influence is beautifully re-constructed in his output.

Deepcry is up first with his superb remix of Pulse Garden. No stranger to GM we last saw him on the remix for Narel’s The View at 2 AU a few years back. Expect a big synth driven monster with this one. Tight beats accompanied by a solid bassline provide the platform for melody laden riffs that will captivate and enthral.

Slam Duck is up next with a remix on Circle Sky. Slam Duck has seen releases on a host of labels including JOOF Recordings. He appeared on our Club Traxx 17 compilation a while back. A name synonymous with quality, the remix here will attest to that. A much deeper offering, exploring a voice driven fantasy laced with rich pads and subtle melodies. A solid bassline and chunky beats complete this top notch cut.

Returning to Green Martian we have Enlusion with a remix of Circle Sky. This young artist has notched up quite an impressive back catalogue including two cuts for us at GM as well as many others. Here he delivers a real punchy progressive mover with an upbeat vibe. The bassline invades the senses while softer pads and effects enhance the melodies. An excellent slice that will not disappoint.

The impressive Facade dishes out an energetic, flowing remix on Return Of The Northerlies. A much-respected artist on the scene who is no stranger to Bonzai having made a remix for Narel several years ago. If you like your progressive house pushed to the edge then this is the track for you, full-on, driving and laced with subtle 303 action, this is not to be missed.

UK based DJ and producer DJ Shy aka Horizons is our next remixer with his take on Re-Arecibo. No stranger to these shores, we saw his work on our chill out label Bonzai Elemental a few years ago and it’s great to see him back again. The remix here will take you on a beautiful journey filled with emotion thanks to an ever-evolving sound that flows effortlessly. Nice arpeggiated synths and a punchy bassline will keep you moving, a must have.

Our very own Audio Noir is up next with one of his infamous Rekonstructions on Our Surfaces Dances. After several years with Bonzai, this guy has racked up a plethora of releases and remixes, each one offering a glimpse of his unique sound. Here he eases us into the groove with sporadic percussions before some chunky 303 sounds come through. The track has a wonderful retro theme that will appeal to many. An absolute must have for sure.
