La Palmera EP

Maxi Taboada & Pablo Pingitore debut on Bonzai Progressive with the superb La Palmera EP. This Argentinean duo have been making waves on the scene for a number of years now and have release quality cuts on various labels. They’ve worked together numerous times and it’s evident in their productions that they have a mutual understanding for creating the perfect groove. Great to have them on board and no doubt we’ll be hearing much more soon.

La Palmera intros with a solid punchy kick drum and mesmerizing arpeggio alongside shuffling percussions. Distant pads create a surreal vibe in the sound while a deep bassline ramps up the pressure on the groove. A soft vocal breaks through before retro themed synth chords dish out a complex pattern. A jazzy element is evident thanks to some very cool trumpets and that hypnotic vocal. Deep, proggy grooves for the late night sets for sure.

About Us delivers a superb progressive vibe with a tech edge that will definitely keep the floors moving long into the night. The track is driven by a tight drum arrangement over a deep probing bassline that adds so much depth to the groove. Whining synth sounds hypnotize alongside a single synth note and a mesmeric vocal which comes to life on the break. A totally immersive, sublime groove for the hedonistic party goers, not to be missed.
