Bonzai Progressive BP6392017 24 April, 2017

Spanish DJ and producer Adrian Roman shows up on Bonzai Progressive with the superb three tracker entitled Giro. We first got a taste of this guys sound back in 2015 on our Progrez imprint with Reverse, which was very well received indeed. From a young age Adrian was interested in music, he took guitar lessons at age 8 before he started to listen to electronic music. He became interested in DJing and got hold of the tools needed to hone his skills. Production soon followed and he became fascinated with creating something from scratch. Great to see him back and no doubt we’ll be seeing more in the future.

First up we have the superb progressive house grooves of Giro that create a wonderfully warming sound. A nice and tight drum arrangement keeps a steady rhythmic flow as subtle melodies paint a surreal scene. Deep rumbling basses shore up the low end as we’re drawn deeper into the groove. Mesmeric and hypnotic, the perfect combination.

Tour is a solid progressive house groover with a focus on subtle melodics and a fantastic deep rooted sub bass. Intricate drum patterns deliver a tight rhythm as that bass dominates the groove. Sweeping pads ignite the senses creating colourful textures in the sound while the beats keep the dancing feet moving. Top notch stuff that will not disappoint.

Vuelta takes on a cool experimental vibe right from the offset as various percussions etch out intricate patterns. A beautifully deep, lush pulsating bass draws your attention and locks you in to a powerful groove for the duration. Subtle arpeggios and swirling pads offer a cosmic theme to the sound that generates a rich tapestry of hypnotic sounds. A superb cut that is not to be missed.
