St. Petersburg based producer debuts on Green Martian with the fantastic Earth Resonance. Since graduating from music school Fashion Police became interested in electronic music. He has a unique approach to writing his own music and he uses his 10 years of music school experience as his basis. In 2008 he got his first release with Inside Me on 4 Seasons and since then there is no stopping this seriously talented artist. With affections for multiple genres, his work has been supported by a broad spectrum of DJ’s around the world. Delighted to have him on board and no doubt we’ll be seeing more in the future.

Earth Resonance intros with a teasing sequence as filtered kicks lead a surreal atmospheric pad and subtle percussions. We’re rewarded with a lush bass that sends a warm glow over the track creating a superb progressive groove. Captivating vocals wash over the sound raising the hairs on the back your neck as a mesmeric melody eases in. The break takes us deeper offering up more of that melody before a nice drum roll takes us back into full on mode, simply wonderful.

Phoenix Lights takes us on a fantastic trip into progressive house with a sizzling display of quality sounds. Right from the off we’re hooked as a rising pad lifts us high into the stratosphere before thick basses and chunky kick drums level out and settle into a solid groove. The pads continue to evolve adding textures to the sound while hypnotic melodies keep the imagination racing. Top notch stuff that will be the perfect addition in any peak time set.

Right There sets out with a cool filtered drum arrangement as various riser FX ebb and flow before the beat drops alongside a driving progressive bassline. Tantalising melodies carried on shimmering synths fade in as we become locked in to the groove. An infectious vocal teases as it nestles perfectly within the harmonics on the break where a smooth build up takes us to a nice climax. A beauty of a track that will warm up the colder Autumn nights.
