Following Light makes his full Green Martian debut with the superb two tracker – Dell. Ukranian born Kirill Guk has remained a constant force in the progressive house world since 2010 having released on a vast selection of labels. Inmost Records, Balkan Connection and Abstract Space are just a few of the labels mentioned but gives you an idea of the status this guy holds. His music features heavily in sets across the globe and he has worked with some top artists along the way. We last got a glimpse of his talents on remix duty for Samotarev’s Midnight Pinball as well as an appearance on our Afterhour Trax 18 compilation.

Dell opens with a cool percussion led intro with a smooth warm pad filling the background before making way for punchy kicks and cosmic synths. A deep droning bass tone adds depth to the sound and gives the track its progressive groove. Mesmerizing melodies deliver splashes of colour to the sound and keep you locked on throughout. Top notch stuff, a must have track.

Iincessant gets right into a deep groove from the outset as chunky kicks and a superb hypnotic bassline get the progressive juices flowing. Crispy, shuffling hats provide a steady flowing rhythm to the track as swelling strings and pads bring in rich textures. Throughout the track we are treated to a myriad of melodies that give a brighter touch in contrast to the deeper elements. An excellent slice of melodic progressive house that will be a welcome addition in any collection.
