Alexey Koptev a.k.a. St. Petersburg based DJ and producer joins Green Martian with the superb Dancing Under The Stars which features three solid melodic progressive cuts. A newcomer to the production scene, Alexey’s passion for electronic music began in the 2000’s when he was 16 years old. His distinctive feature is the creation of an enchanting atmosphere on the dance floor and clockwork melodies wrapped up in a steady tempo. While DJing his musical selections are distinguished by an easy, but at the same time, in-depth atmospheric sound. The desire not to stand in one place, makes him immerse himself in the search for a new dynamic sound, for the redoubling of the modern public with a special variety. He has dabbled with various genres but now Alexx has chosen Deep and Progressive House, as over time his musical preferences have changed from fast rhythms to more moderate ones, with a deep bass line, melodic synths and ambient overflows.

Dancing Under The Stars is an alluring track filled with bright plucky synths creating a rich captivating sound. A tight drum section is led by a pumping kick drum alongside crispy hi hats and rhythmic percussions that will set the floors alight. A hypnotic arpeggio takes centre stage, giving the track a distinct melodic groove. Very nice indeed, not to be missed.

Through A Dream takes us on a darker progressive journey thanks to a stylish groove comprised of deep bass tones and contrasting melodic arps. The extreme ends of both low end and high end frequencies are married together in a beautiful tapestry of sound that mesmerizes and manifests in smooth and steady groove. Top notch stuff for the late night sessions.

Way To Home rounds off a sublime trio of tracks from Alexx Marr. This one strikes a perfect balance between the deeper and brighter elements. Powerful basses dominate while rich melodic arpeggios force their way through to bring a captivating air to the track. More arps layer up to reveal a complex structure that lures you in with its siren song while steady beats keep you rooted to the floor. Wonderfully crafted and a definite must have.
