Aurora EP

Ukranian DJ and producer Ruslan Haievyk aka MacroVision debuts on Green Martian with the beautiful deep progressive grooves on the three tracker Aurora EP. His love for electronic music started with The Prodigy which got him hooked. He also likes soft and powerful sounds with melodic parts. He has seen releases on several labels from across the northern hemisphere and he has won a number of music based competitions in the last few years. His music has seen airplay on many radio stations including Kiss FM, DJFM, DFM and BBC Radio. His DJ sets are known to bring an energy to the floor and for being immersive and dynamic. A top talent in his field and we are delighted to have him on board.

Aurora intros with a solid punchy kick drum and crispy hi hat combi which is soon followed by a probing bass note and rising synth pad. The bassline gets beefed up while starting its journey through some very cool note changes that alter the dynamic of the track. Subtle arpeggio melodies compliment the groove creating a dreamy vibe that imprints in your memory. On the break we find more melodies as multi layers combine to take us deeper before slamming right back into full on mode for the duration.

Illusion is a stunning display of progressive house music structure and delivery. The prog vibes just ooze out of the sound and the arrangement is tight, driven by a superb drum section that keeps the rhythm active throughout. A deep, warming bassline holds everything in place as hypnotic melodies do their thing. On the break we get respite until the track transforms into an even bigger monster than before thanks to outstanding synths, The music will do the talking here, enjoy.

Another Mind – Rework takes us deeper into the progressive abyss with a wonderfully crafted slice that mesmerises and intrigues. Chunky kick drums lead the way as subtle percussions tease alongside soft keys and swirling pads. A deep stuttering bassline gets the groove moving nicely while bright crispy hi hats come through to shape a dancey rhythm. The pads and keys create a surreal and serene atmosphere which gives the track a lot of character and making it an absolute must have for the late night sessions.
