2Basics EP

A welcome return to Basiks for Lucio with this two tracker 2Basics EP. Lucio’s last outing, Let’s Go, back in the summer was well received and we are sure this newest cut will follow suit.

First up is Basic A which takes us into the proverbial rabbit hole of deep techno as a myriad of sounds converge onto our senses with merciless gusto. Solid, well constructed beats sit over a superb pulsating bass that seems to go on forever and ever. The break is where the track takes a surreal turn, cascading sounds and FX are met with fading arps which give off a space vibe. You find yourself totally hooked in here as these intricate patterns play havoc with your imagination. A definite must have track which will not disappoint.

Basic B goes deeper with a harsh, raw groove that etches itself into your brain. Big chunky kicks are joined by crispy percussions that keep time in a solid rhythmic vibe. A fantastic deep throbbing bass comes through and leads us to the break where a cacophony of spaced out sounds multiply as the layers build. Wonderfully crafted FX and synth patterns are brought together in a mind blowing sequence that locks you in for the duration. Superb, sublime and simply stunning stuff you will not want to miss.
