Pavlin Petrov and Graham Lloris join forces again, reanimating their 2014 cut, Eternal Sky alongside Bonzai Progressive debutant, Miwa. Pavlin started producing in 2005 with a keen interest in ambient before he got more into progressive house. He likes to experiment with every new track and express that deep and dark feeling dedicated to his unique style. He’s been responsible for a raft of quality cuts for us over the years and we’ve no doubt there’s much more to come. Graham Lloris started producing in 1998. He has always had an interest in progressive house, in particular the darker, underground sound. His style has developed over many years and he has established himself as a solid, consistently creative artist. Hiroshima, Japan based vocalist Miwa has made appearances on TV shows and clubs as a dancer and singer. She was introduced to GOTO (from rock band Plagues) and they started to make music together. She has collaborated with a host of artists over the years, thanks to her rich and warm, outstanding voice.

The Rebirth Mix breathes new life into the original. Retaining that sublime, deep, ethereal vibe, the groove is chunky and warm with spine tingling moments crafted from a blend of dynamic sounds. A deep bubbling bassline commands the low end as striking synths cut through in chaotic fashion, forming subtle melodies. The vocal steals the show, distinct and catchy with a strong narrative, effortlessly slotting into the construction. Top-notch stuff.

Fresh from his last outing here – Silence, alongside Almi, Theus (BR) returns with his Lost in Bali Dub. Theus has been producing music since 2017 and is an artist with focus. He is inspired by melodic and progressive nuances of House and Techno. He is always ready for a great performance, knowing how to read the dance floor and getting the audience to immerse in his musical experience. Here, Theus adopts a more minimal approach, taking out the vocal to leave a deep, captivating slice with subtle references to the classic vox. Nice chunky beats and a probing bassline lead the way as shuffling hi hats generate a smooth rhythmic flow. Simple, plucked synths deliver maximum impact, making this one a must have.

Doriaan is back, this time on remix duties which comes just a few short months since his last effort here with Tempted. Doriaan’s very diverse taste inspires him to create music that has groove, melody and emotion. 2020 is already a great year for him, delivering more music than ever in his short career and pushing the boundaries to make his sound better and better every day. On the remix here, we’re treated to a sultry, smooth, deep progressive journey. Warm beats and a mesmerizing bassline hypnotize as Miwa’s vocal washes over the groove, adding depth and soul. The track releases tension, allowing a wave of pleasure to rush in. Beautifully crafted and a definite must have.
