French producer P.A.M.O. returns to Piston with another sublime slice of deep house in the two tracker Coitus. It’s been just over a year since we last saw P.A.M.O. on Piston, his last outing – Somewhere – gained great support and has since went on to feature in several compilations on various labels. Nice to see him back with another round of quality music.
Coitus offers up a solid helping of deep and sultry house music for the late night hedonist. The track is powered by a superb drum arrangement that forces you to move to the beat. A deep bassline meanders through the sound effortlessly but the main event here are those wonderful groovy chord stabs and lush pads that give the track its deep flavour. Top notch stuff you do not want to miss.
The aptly titled Bounce is up next and this is a track the floors are gonna love no doubt. A percussion laden intro leads us to a female vocal shot which delivers a cool club vibe. Deep probing basses are equally matched by garage style chord stabs, and the two blend very nicely indeed alongside a jazzy sax. A beautifully arranged slice of deep house and a definite must have.
