Bonzai Progressive embraces the Spring season with the superb Satisfy from London based DJ, producer duo Orphix aka Kris Stewart and Ed James. The guys are no stranger to us at Bonzai, their last effort here, Avantes Peak, performed very well indeed, charting among many top jocks. Orphix are known for quality and are always pushing themselves to achieve more success in their music career, perfecting technical abilities and developing their unique style. Always great having them here.
The release kicks off with the Original Mix which sets the mood with a vibrant, upfront groove which is laced with cool vocals, shuffling percussions, driving bass and classic chords. We welcome Ewan Rill back to Bonzai with the first of two interpretations to whet the appetite. Ewan returns after his last remix on Jaydee’s Mokum Groove and, as always, he brings his A-game to the table. On the remix he unleashes his own brand of progressive goodness, retaining the vibrancy of the original while injecting lush grooves and melodic arpeggios. Aurelien Stireg rounds up the release with a top-notch remix which comes after his 2020 remix of Existence by Almi & Theus (BR). Here, Aurelien beefs up the groove with heavy kicks and deep, dark basses. The vocal is used beautifully against the dark tones making this the perfect fodder for the late-night session.
