Rich atmospherics and ambient textures greet us on the Original Mix, which sets the tone for the groove throughout. Chunky beats and flurries of rhythmic percussions keep us moving, while mesmerizing voices and soft melodies add character to the sound. Strong bass stabs dominate as hypnotic arpeggios cascade. A superb effort, deep and moody, not to be missed.
We welcome Nico Parisi back at Bonzai Progressive with his top-notch remix. It’s been a while since we last saw Nico here, and he is still churning out quality vibes. A stalwart for us over the years, it always a pleasure to have him here. On the remix, Nico dishes out one of his wonderfully deep progressive grooves. Exotic percussions are led by a punchy kick drum, setting up tight rhythms to move to. Mesmerizing pads fill the background alongside delicate voices as thick bass stabs contrast. A rich, enticing slice that will not disappoint.
Belgian duo Monotique debut on Bonzai Progressive with a wonderful interpretation, taking the original down a much deeper, darker path. A relatively new project, they guys already have a release on Laark Records, and while we don’t know too much about them, we know their music is top-notch and we hope to be seeing more from them in the future. The remix is dominated by a strong, rolling bassline, controlling the low-end beautifully as spacey FX, cool vocals and sharp plucks float around. A real mover, robust and mystical, perfect for the late-night session.
