London Based electronic music duo Kris Stewart and Ed James aka Orphix, are on fire at the moment having had success with their last effort here, Satisfy. The guys never falter when it comes to pushing the boundaries, ensuring that their output is smothered in quality. They are refining their technical abilities while developing a unique style which brings a fresh approach to the progressive sound.
Opening the release, we have the Original Mix which intros with muted kicks before transforming in warm, pulsating beats, accompanied by a strong, lush bassline. Delicate melodies cascade as a captivating vocal injects a club vibe. An outstanding slice that will not disappoint. Up next, we welcome Rick Pier O’Neil back to the label with yet another solid remix. With a rich history in electronic music, Rick lives and breathes producing sounds. He is recognized as one the top tastemakers, with a worldwide popularity that continues to grow. Here, he offers up a more subdued, sublime groove with a subtle Balearic vibe. A pristine production with a simple yet highly effective take on the original that works beautifully. Rounding out the release, Seth Vogt returns to BO on remix duties. Based in Florida, Seth has been producing dance music professionally since 1996 and has done remixes for many underground acts as well as being commissioned for remixes by household names such as The Script, Korn, Rihanna and more. He is the owner of M-Toxin Recordings and has amassed a raft of professional releases on several labels. Here, he takes us on a dreamy, emotive and atmospheric journey. In true Seth style, he’s focussed in on the stunning vocal, centred around strong chords and hair-raising note changes. Brilliantly executed and dialled for the dancefloor.
