Night Shift Master dishes out his seventh full release on Bonzai Progressive with the superb Mad World. He’s also been responsible for a raft of top-notch remixes, the latest being a solid interpretation of Anthony Spallino & Aurelien Stireg’s Positive Vibrations. NSM has been churning out some tasty cuts over recent years. He is shaping his own sound with his unique signature of cosmically charged grooves. He started to study in a music school when he was 6 years old. After completing his studies at the music school (focusing on Violin and Piano), he graduated from the music academy of his home town, when he was 16. While getting his B.A degree in audio technology and sound engineering, he produced music in the various styles. Vlad has also been composing music for movies, commercials, performs as a DJ and participates in many other music projects. During his DJ sets, he incorporates performance that are special and unique. Always one to watch, we’re delighted to see him back once again.
Mad World gets us on the move with a solid slice of progressive house goodness. Nice, chunky beats lead the way as exotic percussions form smooth rhythms. Warm basses and plucky FX create an immense depth to the track as airy pads fill the spectrum. Delicate melodies and distant voices add an ethereal touch. Momentum builds, taking us to the break where those wispy pads and softer tones take over before a flurry of activity gets us right back to full on mode. A top-notch cut that will not disappoint.
Vlad is joined by fellow Israeli, DJ and producer Rami Ramirez on Afterlight. Rami is known for his progressive sounds which feature melodic overtones and deep presence. His DJ sets take the crowds into another world where he moulds a sublime sound for a magical experience. Great to have him here at BP for his debut and we hope to hear more from him soon. Afterlight is a strong, deep rooted mover. Driven by a tight drum section and a powerful low end, the groove invites you in for a surreal experience. While the solid, lower end keeps us on the ground floor, emotive notes and effervescent synths create sweet melodies that work their way into your soul. A beautifully worked groove that will be a welcome addition in any late-night set.
