Sardinia born DJ and producer Mend returns to Piston with the fantastic three track EP entitled Visionair. We last caught a glimpse of this guy back in 2013 with his debut slice – Metroplex EP, and since then he has appeared on a few compilations Including Ibiza 2015 on Bonzai Progressive and Best Of Piston 2014. Delighted to see him back once again and we look forward to more, but for now enjoy this super fine deep and tech house cut.

Visionair opens with a nice punchy kick drum that delivers a solid thud alongside slicing hats and a mesmeric pad. A probing bassline comes through and sets up a powerful groove for us to get down to. Tight drums and expert arrangement provide a fine flowing rhythm as the track locks us in with its relentless tech house groove. A definite must have track that is sure to keep the floors rocking long into the night.

Goodlife intros with a powerful punchy kick drum that leaves a nice bassy trail on the end. Bright crispy hats slice through the low frequencies with ease and set up the foundation for a nice flowing rhythm. Warm pads break through and introduce a deep throbbing bassline that delivers a sublime deep house groove. Strange, surreal synths fade up alongside some cool FX and those warm pads reappear creating a wonderfully contrasting sound. Beautifully layered sounds that are not to be missed.

System84 delivers a retro style sound that will give the oldskool crew something to focus in on. The drums here are exquisite and are expertly arranged with tech house in mind to deliver a solid rhythmic groove which sits on top of a deep sub bass. In the background a distant vocal fades in and out alongside some quirky synths and a mesmerizing pad that hangs in the air. The groove intensifies as the layers build resulting in a wild and crazy drum party that will definitely get the floors moving.
