Kindred Spirits’ next Green Martian release, Demoiselle, follows on from the superb Folies d’Antan in February 2015. Kevin Vega is called up for remix duty on this one which will definitely get the house juices flowing.
The Original Mix intros with a cool bright flavour filled with crispy hats and sharp percussions which are soon joined by a nice big chunky kick. Synth arps come through early on and set the scene for a melodic trek into smooth progressive house. The offset bass and accompanying deeper sounds provide the perfect backdrop for the melodies to slide effortlessly through the sound. A wonderfully upbeat sound that will do well in any set, just in time for Summer.
Fresh off the back of his last outing, The Gambler on Progez, Kevin Vega shows up at Green Martian for remix duty on Demoiselle. The remix itself delivers an infectious floor jam filled with super tight drums complete with intricate percussion patterns. On top of this we find a punchy kick that really dominates the sound with its well rounded edges and low end prowess. Rising arps cascade right through the sound as we are locked on to the groove, while on the break we are led deeper into the groove before getting slammed right back into the main track for the duration. A super smooth progressive house journey you will not want to miss.
