Joe Le Blanc aka Giacomo Bisciarri marks his Bonzai Elemental debut with the superb Trick Trock EP. This new project from Giacomo was started in early 2015 and has already seen a raft of quality releases on various labels such as Lounge Colour, Dubfeet and New Creatures. He digs deep into chilldom and downtempo with the odd drum n bass and deep house effort thrown in for good measure. Delighted to have him on board and we look forward to more in the future.

Trick Trock intros with a laid back kickdrum and subtle percussions which are soon joined by a smooth, warm chord that leaves a lingering tone in its wake. A funky plucked bass guitar etches out a solid groove that is soon joined by a beefed up drum section and cool chanting vocals. A wonderful lead synth sits back perfectly adding a touch more groove to the sound. Just the tonic for the lounge to put your mind at ease.

Wide intros with a tough, powerful kickdrum that packs a punch and is coupled with a steady hat and cymbal combi. All at once the bass and lead sounds burst through and deliver a solid downtempo groove with an R n B trait running through. The sounds are luscious and smooth creating an easy, laidback romantic atmosphere. One for the cosy evenings by the fireside.

White Dish delivers a sultry groove that will definitely get the passion levels rising. Deep, lush bass notes are joined by warm keys and rich strings delivering a beautiful cacophony of melody that takes us deep into the groove. Time to break out the candles, and get your freak on with this one.

Rounding up this stunning EP we have Worth which takes on a funky persona with its groovy guitars and shuffling drums. Beautifully executed piano chords deliver a smooth lounge groove as the bass brings the funk. Rising and falling plucks give the track a distinct flavour which boasts a hint of jazz. A brilliant display of easy listening that will not disappoint.
