Up next on Bonzai Progressive we welcome back Hypnotised alongside Belgian DJ, producer Selected Grooves, with the superb Mesmerized. Hypnotised is no stranger to these shores having delivered solid works for us over the last few years, including his last outing here with remix duties on Samwell’s Control. Selected Grooves debuts here, and he brings an exciting sound which will no doubt reflect his top-notch DJing.

We kick off the release with the Original Mix, a solid, punchy progger with hypnotic tendencies. Strong, chunky beats are joined by flurries of exotic percussions as bright melodic arps cascade through the groove. Rich and dynamic, this one will not disappoint. Italian DJ, producer duo Sonic Dust return to BP with a solid remix and this one follows their Spring debut, My View. Here, the duo have opted for the relentlessly hypnotic approach, driving the groove with layers of infectious voices, delicate arps, swirling atmospherics and climactic drum rolls. Agustin Olmedo marks his Bonzai debut with a fantastic remix. Hailing from Buenos Aires, Agustin has been influenced by the greats of electronic music. He is building a solid back catalogue with several releases since 2018 and we’re delighted to have him on board. On the remix here, Agustin dishes out a punchy, no-nonsense progressive mover. Thumping beats and rhythmic percussions set the groove in motion as deep, probing basses shore up the low end. Warm overlays contrast the scathing synth work that slices through to the backdrop of intriguing voices. A memorable effort that will not disappoint.
