Crocy and Ashley are back, this time their fantastic 2017 track Passion gets the remix treatment which provide some serious progressive grooves. These two really shine when they get together, something just seems to click and the sound becomes magical. The original release proved popular thanks to Crocy’s lush deep vibes and Ashley’s captivating voice. Crocy has been churning out quality vibes for us and others with impressive results. He joins the Bonzai crew for a night of retro and contemporary sounds at Eskimo Fabriek in Gent on 2nd June 2018, something we are all excited for.

Cyprus based music duo Paul Angelo & Don Argento return to BP with this classy remix. Last time out here they gave us their Truth EP which gained great support among many. The guys started writing and playing electronic music as a duo back in 201 and since then they performed at top electronic music venues in Cyprus and managed to reach the Beatport top 100 with their debut EP, Bromelain. Their music blends elements of Progressive House, Trance and Techno and they have seen support from top jocks from around the world. Here the guys turn their hand to what they do best and that is delivering beautifully lush and warm progressive grooves. Right from the off we’re drawn into the sound thanks to the hypnotic bass and mesmeric voices that litter the background. Rhythmic percussion loosen up the hips forcing you to the floor as the atmosphere builds. Subtle melodies weave through the sound via softly struck synth keys. A truly deep and dark affair that will not disappoint.

Atmoz legend Nico Parisi is back in the remix hot seat and once again he delivers a fine slice for our listening pleasure. His last offering for Bonzai Progressive – Silenzio – has been gaining ground since it’s January release, climbing high in charts and slotting into many playlists. Always great to have Nico at the helm and we look forward to more. Look out for the upcoming documentary where he speaks about his journey with Atmoz. Nico eases us into a tight progressive flow on the remix. The intro wastes no time starting out with a jittering bassline alongside a tight drum arrangement. Ashley’s smooth vocal washes over the track enhanced with expertly crafted echoes adding colour and texture to the groove. A chilling synth pad lurks in the background creating tension and on the break we’re treated to more of the vocal and some very cool sequences before the beats return to get the booty shakin’ once more. Top notch stuff that is not to be missed.

Madrid based artist Jesus Gonzalez aka Jacob Singer dishes out a fine remix here, ramping up the progressive grooves for the floors. Jacob started out in music playing the guitar and was heavily influenced by rock and metal bands for many years. After he discovered electronic music however, he soon realised that this is where his passion lay. Now a veteran on the progressive scene he has churned out many noteworthy releases on various labels including his Briah EP on Green Martian which followed several other cuts on Bonzai Progressive. Here on the remix we’re captivated by a wonderfully lush progressive groove made up of warm basses and surreal FX. The vocal carries some very cool FX giving a more raspy delivery which adds texture to the sound. A strong bassline drives the track alongside sweet melodic arpeggios creating a contrasting image. The layers build and the groove becomes infectious making this an absolute must for any serious prog jock.
