Funky tech house with soul is what Chanelle Pearl is all about. Born in Quebec, Canada, Chanelle has carved a respectable niche in electronica with her energetic vibes sometimes with an 80’s flavour. Influenced by the likes of Roger Sanchez and The Cube Boys, Chanelle’s ultimate goal is to have her own team of producers and her own record label. Fast becoming a big name on the Canadian dance circuit it won’t be long before she is global. Chanelle debuts on Eyepatch with a superb three track EP filled with her trademark sound.

First is “The Bass”, pure quality funky tech house, bouncy rhythm created by a well crafted drum and perc arrangement. Super funky riffs and a lot of brilliant samples including “turn up the bass” which always adds weight to any track, brilliant stuff and sure to be a big floor filler.

“Mike’s Dinner” kicks us off and straight away the tune is pumping, quite simple structure yet highly effective, super thick kicks and sharp percs provide a steady groove, nice cool bit of a soul flavour in the synths and a short vocal sample helps to deliver a top notch tune.

“Funky Musik” is exactly that, Funky! Deep deep basses accompanied by a more upbeat arrangement on the drums, highly infectious soulful and funky synths will keep the ears pricked up for the duration.
