Following Light returns to Bonzai Basik Beats to entertain us with his super tight set building skills. Ukrainian born Kirill Guk aka Following Light has remained a constant force in the progressive house world since 2010 having released quality music on a vast selection of labels. He has built up an impressive set of labels under the Lincor Family Group, churning out quality tracks across multiple genres. In the mix tonight we’re treated to the sounds of Dahu, Khen, Idan Gerber, James Holden, Brian Cid, Marco K, Chris Hobbs and DJ Cyberstai among others making this the perfect start to the party weekend.
We’re delighted and excited to have Airwave back at the helm on this week’s Bonzai Basik Beats radio show. After a bit of a hiatus he returns to us in the midst of his 20 years celebrations with another sublime set filled with serious progressive gems. For Airwave it’s all about the music, he puts his heart and soul into every production and DJ set and is rewarded with dedication and loyalty from his massive fanbase. They say that 30 is a charm (or do they?) anyway, Phi Phi returns for his 30th guest spot on Bonzai Basik Beats (that must make him resident). This guy has achieved so much in his illustrious career that you would need a rather thick book to cram it all in. You all know this guy’s history so let’s get right down to the business at hand, his outstanding set. Dag is back for his second set in as many weeks and once again we find ourselves locked in to the masterclass from this guy. This week we are witness to a rip-roaring techno set with tracks from DJ Hell, C.A.R., Michael & Levan, Antix, Van Bellen, Adam Beyer and another fine slice from Dag and Matthew.
DJ Dag debuts on Bonzai Basik Beats with the first of 2 back to back weekly sets. He also recently debuted on our Bonzai Progressive imprint alongside Matthew Kramer. Dag Lerner is best known as one half of early 90’s pioneering duo Dance 2 Trance alongside Rolf Elmer. He was of course responsible for many other hits in various groups and for lighting up the floors at the Dorian Gray and other venues in Germany and across Europe including Space Ibiza and Cocoon. Here, he takes us on a rollercoaster ride filled with top quality cuts from the like of Enrico Sangiuliano, Faithless, Eric Prydz, Adam Beyer, Alex Mine, Aquatro and Robert Capuano as well as Dag and Matthew’s own track Bullets Don’t Lie.
Phi Phi shows up for his 29th appearance here on Bonzai Basik Beats with another delicious set filled with quality progressive grooves for our listening pleasure. This week’s mix features a host of top-rated artists with tracks from Roy Rosenfeld, Marc Romboy, Robert Babicz, Freedo Mosho, Emmanuel Top, Torsten Kanzler, Nick Muir, John Digweed and more.

They’ve been prominent figures in the dance music scene for many years now. They doubled as part of the hugely successful Starchasers back at the turn of the millennium and since then they’ve racked up a very impressive catalogue under various guises. In the mix today you’ll hear quality tracks from Dezza, Eanp, Rinzen, Ceas, Camel Phat, Qualysto and many more.
We welcome Phi Phi back to the decks for his 28th guest spot and it’s no wonder we keep having him back due to his superior knowledge and track selection. A veteran on the scene, this guy has inspired a whole generation of jocks who want to aspire to his respected standing. Greg S is back at the helm for his 3rd Bonzai Basik Beats guest spot and, once again we’re in for a real treat thanks to this guy’s intelligent tune selection and masterful mixing skills. Since 2012 he has been wowing his audience with quality sets at Belgium’s top clubs and festivals. He signed with Bonzai recently and has already delivered two superb tracks on our Bonzai Progressive imprint and he is fast becoming a regular fixture at our events. Today’s mix has a retro theme which features tracks and remixes from Energy 52, Junior Jack, Fatima Yamaha, S’ Express, Detlef, Sam Paganini, Maceo Plex, Carl Cox and many more.
Downgrooves and Chris Sterio mark their Bonzai Basik Beats debut with a sublime set filled with quality sounds. Mario & Eric J make up Downgrooves and they are an established progressive house production team based out of Dallas, Texas. They have been producing music for over 20 years, with releases on labels such as Bonzai Progressive, Mistique Music, Armada, Incepto Music, Source of Gravity, Musicon, 7 Seas Digital, 7 Seas NuWave and many more.
