Since Audio Noir released his debut album, Almost Famous, things have been gaining pace, which led us to gathering top remix artists to work their skills on the superb tracks within the album. Back in the summer of this year Reworked Volume 1 hit the floors running and on the back of that we present to you another round of top quality remixes with Reworked Volume 2 comprising five, on fire producers doing their thing. In the meantime, Audio Noir continues his reign over deep progressive sounds with an upcoming remix on a new Phi & Airwave collaboration as well as a remix on Thorin’s Secrets and appearances on various compilations. Always worth keeping an eye on this outstandingly talented artist.

Swedish four piece Inkfish are first up on remix duty with their Promise Nothing Remix of One More Night. The intro comes in with a gnarly, raw organic flavour as heavy keys and grainy flutes set the tone. Punchy kicks soon follow alongside a fantastic distorted vocal sample that really captures the organic nature of the sound beautifully. A smooth rhythmic flow is established with the percussive elements and is further enhanced by a subtle bass that sits back allowing that vocal sample to keep control of the track. Superb stuff that will be a welcome addition to those darker, deeper sets.

Pole Folder & Cedric Piret are up next with their remix of Under The Sun. It’s been a while since we last saw these guys, their last outing was on remix duty for Quincy’ In Balance back at the start of this year. Since then the guys have been working on other projects as well a DJing at various events. Here the remix gets going with some smooth bass tones alongside a steady building rhythmic percussion sequence. Nice chunky kicks get the progressive vibes flowing as melodic phrases ebb and flow through the track. A deep-rooted bassline adds to the darker element of the sound as we are locked into this wonderful groove. The break takes a surreal sidestep with those melodies converging into a beautiful sequence that leads back into the main track. A truly epic ride with deep and thoughtful imagination, not to be missed.

East Cafe aka Gabor Kaszas debuts on Bonzai Progressive with his superb remix of Midnight Til Morning. Gabor pride himself on producing intelligent sounding progressive house and has been doing so for several years. His works can be found on labels like Silk, Mistique Music, Digital Sensation and Morphosis with support coming from all quarters. Here he utilises his skills to churn out a masterful slice of prog goodness. The intro eases us into the groove with a nice and smooth percussive laden sequence which leads up to a grainy bass synth that sets the scene perfectly. The vocal sits off the main groove beautifully and captivates with its intriguing narrative. The layers continue to build and bring fleeting melodies as well as a pulsing bass that becomes a big feature. Deep and smooth progressive grooves that will draw the attention of many for sure.

Bonzai regular Yuriy From Russia delivers another of his stunning cuts we have become accustomed to with his remix of La Polaris. After a summer of multiple remixes, we look forward to more from this guy. The intro boasts a swelling, rich pad sequence with a harsh clap on the upbeat, a nice well-rounded kick is joined by a wonderful pulsating bass that fills the sound beautifully. Intricate melodies burst out of the deeper groove as arps speckle the sound. A stunning trek into deep progressive vibes that does not disappoint.

Antonio Citarella wraps up this pack with his superb remix of Morphine. We last saw Antonio on our Progrez imprint with Traveller, which was very well received among many. Here he delivers a truly sublime prog experience as the intro lets loose with a metallic arp sequence on top of some lush synth licks and a quite subtle kick. Percussions form up and bring a solid rhythm that locks you into the groove beautifully as those arps relentlessly drive on. Overall, the sound seems quite minimal but a lot of layers really beefs things up giving off a fuller sound. Top notch stuff yet again from Antonio and a definite must in any set.
