Audio Noir recently released his stunning debut artist album Almost Famous which is packed to the brim of wonderfully crafted tracks. Seeing as the album is so good we decided to line up this fantastic remix package with some of the finest cuts off the album and we called in a few of our top remixers to do their thing. Sit back for a journey deep into the progressive abyss and don’t forget to go and check out the originals from this fantastic album.

First up is Under The Sun with a superb remix from Inkfish. Deep and dark tones are felt from the outset as a pounding kick sits over a distant pad. Cool vocal samples crop up throughout adding smooth textures to the groove. Laidback rhythms come off the subtle percussion section and pave the way for the bass which is the star of the show. That bassline just pulses through the track beautifully and keeps the deeper progressive elements on point. The synth work is minimal as it comes through with a raw edge. Top notch cut from Inkfish that will warm up a lot of sets.

The masterful Airwave provides the next remix on One More Night and right from the off you will realise you’re in for a treat as the wonderfully crafted intro lulls you into its grasp. Subtle synths ebb and flow as a bubbling bass fades up bringing with it a fantastic sense of anticipation. A huge kick unleashes a superb breakbeat pattern which takes us to the first break where a stunning guitar strums out a beautiful melodic sequence with the help of some bright synths before getting back into full on mode. A truly epic and hypnotic experience you will not want to miss.

Up next we have the Manu Riga Morning After Remix of Midnight Til Morning which intros with a nice punchy kick that is soon joined by a smooth deep and warming pad. Subtle melodies flow out of the pads alongside some very cool FX. The track does a great job of drawing you in and gripping your mind body and soul for the duration. The bass will move you as it pounds out a superb progressive groove while contrasting bright pads float above. A short break reveals a beautiful piano sequence and a fantastic vocal that takes the track to a new level. Simply wonderful stuff from Manu which is most definitely not to be missed.

Sa.Du is up next with his remix of Morphine. The intro boasts a tight drum arrangement filled with punchy kicks and a round of rhythmic percussions that will have you on the dancefloor in no time. A deep throbbing bass rears its head to get the groove really flowing and commands right through the track. Cool clangy FX come through adding a tech flavour to the sound while smooth arps and synths retain the progressive edge. Overall the track dishes out a driving groove that will be a most welcome addition in any set.

Lastly on this package we have 21street with a remix of La Polaris. Pounding kicks get the track moving to the backdrop of cool percussion patterns as a female vocal comes in every other bar with a sharp delivery. The track breaks briefly before slamming back with a monster bass that just rolls right through the sound brilliantly and setting the progressive house groove on course. Contrasting melodic sequences are born out of a sweet and bright synth as the darker elements continue to flow. A very cool and dynamic slice that will be a feature among many for sure.
