Andrew Cash is back with another superb offering on Bonzai Progressive in the form of his latest two tracker titled, X Cape, which follows the fantastic, vocal driven, Time. Over the last number of years, he has carved out a solid niche in the narrow gap between trance and progressive. Known for creating dreamy, uplifting melodies and steady basslines, his works have gained a great deal of support from top jocks and artists alike including Paul Van Dyk, Manuel Le Saux, Dash Berlin and Armin Van Buuren. Always a delight when his latest works come through the office.
X Cape is a mesmerizing, deep and lush progressive mover. The stand out feature is that hypnotic bassline, relentlessly pouring its chugging vibe out of the speakers. The track is laced with a melodic air that captures the imagination. Soft arpeggios fade up, transforming into stabbing, slicing motifs that dominate the spectrum while that bassline continues to hold the groove beautifully. An outstanding slice that will most definitely grab attention.
Deeptrak takes us on a sublime, deep trek into progressive house. Spritely rhythms are formed by chunky beats and crisp hats alongside shuffling percussions. A deep, droning bass takes control of the low end as melodic synths carve out smooth melodies that compliment the warm vocal. A top-notch tune that will rock the floors no doubt.
