Next up on Creamminal is Belgian producer and DJ, Ugur Yurt. Ugur has been passionate about music an early age having started to play tapes to his friends at age 11. This passion continues to this day with releases on many techno and house labels including Labyrinth Music, Toxicated Beats and more. Ugur also takes to the decks at loads of parties across Europe and has also graced the booth at Tomorrowland! Today we have his newest release “What Is House”, pure techno driven beats at their best.

First up is the title track “What Is House”, very minimal, solid techno groove, tight percussions and a constant throbbing bass, heavily effected vox samples dominate the break and beyond giving this a more sinister feeling, definitely a tune for the late night darker rooms where the full extent of a tune like this can be experienced.

“Peacock” definitely ruffles it’s feathers and stands proud, upbeat techno vibe on this and quicker tempo gives this feeling. Heavy thick bass and a hypnotic percussion leads up to a wide expanding synth line, short stop for the break and then straight back into this awesome groove!

Next up is “Talking Truss”, slightly more house feel on this with a hint of techno, cool retro vibe is also evident in the hook. Real toe tapping stuff with the drums and bass working well together to provide a steady rhythm, real pro sound on this and we can see this one getting the crowds moving!

“Feromon” is the final track on this amazing EP, the tide turns yet again with a tech-house-prog hybrid. This track has everything, chugging basses, tight thick drums, crisp sharp hats and a groove that is for sure gonna make you move, very impressive stuff from Ugur on this track.
