Veteran DJ and producer Tatsu aka Isaac Indart teams up with deep house guru Gaol and the hugely talented Portuguese DJ and producer Miss Dee for their debut slice – Brighter Days EP – on Piston Recordings. A master of good taste and a hunger for good grooves, Tatsu is currently the resident DJ at Garito Cafe which he has held for more than 10 years, he also plays at Puro Hotel & Puro Beach in Mallorca as well as several gigs around the world. Gaol represents an unmistakeable deep house style with minimalistic and electronic traits. He is highly influenced by the 90’s and to date he has released a plethora of cuts spanning several years. Miss Dee aka Dee Fonte is a music lover at heart, every set she plays is done so with emotion which emanates to the crowd. She started off in Hip Hop but soon found House music and this transition has made her a very flexible artist with a diverse musical mindset. A talented trio with a unique sound, we’re delighted to have them on board.

First up we have Chubbak which dishes out a solid deep house groove for the floors. Nice and chunky kick drums lead the way with a shuffling hat section delivering a flowing rhythm. A garage-esque bassline crops up moves effortlessly between the beats before a deep and warm chord pad fades in to take over. You’ll soon find yourself moving to the groove on this one, highly infectious and a must have.

The Original Mix of Brigther Days offers up a real nice slice of house music to get the booty’s shakin’. Punchy kicks and crispy hi hats provide a classic intro as cool bongo percussions join in creating a steady flowing rhythm. A smooth and groovy bassline sits nicely on the low end while rich pads and warm chords add to the house flavour. The breaks throws up very cool vocals that add character and club appeal to the track. Top notch stuff that will not disappoint.

Spanish DJ and producer Hurlee returns after a bit of a hiatus from Piston with a superb remix on Brighter Days. He has been influenced by top DJ’s from across the world and he has plied his trade on the Balearic Islands for a number of years now. He has seen releases on many labels including Gimmick Records, Reisei Records, DeepInside and Deepart. Great to see him back. On the remix here Hurlee delivers a solid house joint filled with tight beats, rhythmic percussions and a superb bubbling bassline that will definitely get asses shaking. The bassline dominates and is joined by cool synth stabs alongside subtle acid lines and equally cool club driven vocals. Residing on the deeper end of the house music scale, this one is not to be missed.
