Swing City, the name itself says everything about them. Swing, groove and extra depth in the way they reach your soul! Swinging since 2011 as a collective Ricardo Oliveira and his brother Fabio Oliveira, merged their expertise, Ricardo as a dj and Fabio as a producer, resulting in a fusion between real-time performance and creation, the definition for it is “Jamming in the Floor”.
There’s not much to be said that can’t be listen. Enjoy it!
To start 2013 AU Orange delivers a tasty deep single coming from Bruno Ferreira.
The original mix is a House track filled with lovely chords, vocals and a beast bassline. But what make it special is the Hook, which delivers a very jazzy and twisted feeling.
Fragoso & Swing City Remix, well it’s Acid, and the 909 is played in Chicago House style, the track its really really deep, digging all the time around the “Monster” Bassline.
The Hook of original is also present in this remix, although its not Organ style anymore. It’s a very warm chord that turns a track into a deeper anthem.
Zalaz & Memo Sepulveda remix brings us a completely different interpretation full of pads and sub basses. The vocal appears in a completely different approach, with reverses and cuts. Lovely!
Once again Orange brings us an outstanding EP from a Portuguese duo. Their name? Swing City. Please note it. These chaps will shake and fire the dancefloor in the next months, and we AU Records want to keep them with us. So, about the best. Their music….
Classroom is a Old Schoolish style house track with strong drums aside with a organ pad. But dont think this is another sunset track, this baby will shake a dancefloor properly.
Being more specific this track is tricky considering all the floating elements moving around. Although it starts smoothly and lovely and finish with an epic drum groove followed by pad that makes the theme.
Laze…. the track that gives the name to the EP. Its a really smooth track for playing in a bar or event in a sunset. The vocals are sweet and well treated as expected, and the Chords are pure orange juice for us. Tasty and with body.
If you love deep house, you wont miss this.
