To commemorate the 10th and last release from the “Black Catalog”, we deliver a proper club house remix pack from the previous “Free EP” by Simone Girau and Dario Girau. The head of this honor is the label head manager, “Fragoso”.
About the release itself, in the ‘Lisbon’ Main Remix, Fragoso brings us a funky but dark well defined mass of groove filled with FM LFO’ed synths all around, that in conjunction with the vocal section and a typical 90’s house style lead turn what is already an outraged groove into a groundbreaking twisted travel.
To fill the pack “Fragoso” made the ‘Lisbon’ Deep Remix which drives all the concept into a deep journey. As soon you start listening it, you will realize that is all about dig, dig, dig! Its mental without losing any funky and twisted character. If you seek for a proper mind breaking experience, this is what you need!
Simone Girau is back, this time with a completely groundbreaking and outrageously funky hip-house track with electro influences, “Repeat” is the name and after you listen it you will understand why it’s called that way. “Repeat” makes you wanna listen to it in repeat without hesitation, but Simone wasn’t happy enough with this fact and teamed up with her brother Dario to bring us a monster dark house track that reminds us of the 90s New York house scene. Filled with reverberated soul vocals which automatically make you feel like you’re in the old high times. You can’t miss this!

Simone started early into the world of electronica and soon honed his skills on the old Commodore and Amiga.
Today we have a look into the world of tech with Gioele backed with 2 great remixes and Gong.
The original mix of Gioele has a great sub sound on the basses and some cool electro percs, we love what Simone has done with the vocals here.
Spanish remixer Pablo Rez aka Paolo Miele adds a new layer to the original with some awesome FX that sweep all over, again the vocals are used to great effect, this remix will be one to watch.
Italian technoist Flavio Folco spices things up with a grinding techno monster filled with awesome vocals a cool retro sound.
Gong is a minimal tech tune with a great vocal line. Nice bouncing groove on this with no fuss, just straight up quality beats and treats!

As a grand opening, Orange welcomes you with an original from the Italian Simone Girau, a great reference in the electronic scene who already released through Casa do Conde and Minisketch.
The original mix has a beat in constant change in terms of gain, increasing its power after every low cut. The feeling of electronic world music comes in when you hear a cither playing.
On the remixes we can hear several styles, going from the old school to the ones most in vogue nowadays:
Filipa Rebelo introduces us some wicked low frequencies, giving another concept to the synth voice.
Over8’s deep techno shows us that the old school never dies. Gotta have it!
Dahaus: gives a feeling of a very fine and tuned house music, with a very interesting bassline.
No doubt: Simone Girau was Orange’s perfect choice for premiere.
