Deep basses bubble up from deep within the groove as soft melodic phrases break through and we are left with a stunningly epic track that will prove a hit in many sets for sure. Not to be missed.
Relaunch is first up with his brilliant remix. Big and bold intro as monster kicks take full control from the off to the backdrop of tight percussions and a hypnotic synth loop. Dancey drum patterns soon follow and lead us up to a fantastic Psy styled riff that really sets the track off. The bass sits perfectly under the track and adds its own pulsating rhythms to the sound. The break is an out of this world moment that delivers a beautiful euphoric vibe as melodies are forged out of a wonderful string and pad arrangement. We are then thrust back into this tough edged workout for the duration, absolute top quality yet again from Maik.

The track holds a steady flowing rhythm and takes us to the break where we are given respite in a serene setting with fluctuating melodies before we are slammed right back with the help of a massive build up. No more words, just listen, you will not be disappointed.

All the mesmeric and haunting qualities are gathered together to captivate us into a surreal progressive driven utopia. Anticipation builds as we are teased with the prospect of a full on 4×4 beat that never arrives. Absolutely amazing work yet again from this wonderfully talented guy.

‘Air’ takes us deeper into the progressive arena with a strong full on stomper. Very cool deep basses and chunky kicks are accompanied by wispy FX on the intro before the percussions get the rhythms flowing. Very well structured sounds reveal a solid groove which continues to build and forms into a superb slice of prog. Sweet melodies sweep through the break giving a nice contrast to the sound before the track powers right back into that solid progressive groove, brilliant stuff.
‘In The Music’ comes at us in two versions, first up is the Main Version which settles into a powerful progressive vibe from the get go. Tight drums and percussions are arranged beautifully as a throbbing bass binds the track together. Superbly constructed synths weave a melodic pattern throughout as the track takes on a hypnotic edge. The melodies become prominent on the break as they grip the hairs at the back of your neck and send shivers down your spine, amazing. The Prog Version is very much in line with the Main Version but is more focused on the deeper side of the track, we get the same full prog experience as the chunky kicks deliver a solid punch alongside a stunning deep bass. The melodies make a show here also which really sets the track up. A definite must for any DJ box, not to be missed.
Phi Phi and Airwave are back at it again with another absolute stomper ‘A Breeze On The Nile’. The guys had recently joined forces for the first time on the amazing ‘Back On Track’, and again this time around we see a slew of quality remixes included in this package. Great to see these two legends hitting the studio together and hopefully much more to come.
The Original Mix intros with crash that unleashes a cool round of mixed percussions before a slamming kick drum edges through. High quality FX work fills in the background as we build our way up to a superb bassline that dominates effortlessly and bringing with it a deep progressive vibe. Intense grooves are formed and on the break things quieten down with surreal pads creating a beautiful soundscape. Top notch stuff that will be a definite must on those deep progressive sets!
Philthy Chit teams up with Superlifter on their remix and they have really delivered on the quality front. The remix intros with a cool deep breaks vibe as rhythms slowly build with a round of percussions. Deep basses resonate throughout the sound and the intensity builds around some superb synth sequences. The break shows off some very cool pads and synths before crashing right back into this solid progressive groove.
Next up we have the Relaunch Mix, this guy has been around the remix circuit for quite a while and always produces top quality results. With a full release coming up on JOOF soon we hope to see a lot more from this stunning talent. The track embarks on an epic journey through progressive vibes as sounds evolve. The intro has a chunky kick and bass combo that sets the scene beautifully with smooth synths fading through. Steady rhythms are formed amongst a well crafted drum and percussion section and the tension rises. A gated synth arp dominates the sound for the most part as it rises and rises. A hell of a ride down into the darker recesses of progressive house.
Greece’s own Steve Sai is on a roll at the moment, he has recently seen two first class tracks and a host of remixes this year. On this remix Steve incorporates his own brand of prog with style and ease. Nice and steady flowing rhythms are the order of the day as the tight arrangements gel beautifully within the progressive sound. The bassline has a superb bouncing effect as it keeps the grooves in check with very subtle pads and synths to add texture. Great stuff yet again from Steve!
‘Aloha’ sees the second release from the newly revamped moniker Sector 7 which is the brainchild of Belgian legend M.I.K.E.. With a hectic schedule we are delighted that this guy finds the time to produce under this guise as it was a popular attraction in the good old days, and still remains to this day. Aside from the Original we have a top class line up of remix artists on show in what will prove to be a very well received pack.
The Original Mix intros with a punchy kick that leads into subtle percussions before breaking into a cool chord sequence. The bassline comes into the track and really sets things alight as the layers build with intensity. The main riff makes a show midway transforming the track into a full on progressive tech stomper which will grace many a dance floor for sure.
The very popular Relaunch is next up to remix, dark progressive vibes are what this guys is all about at the moment. German based Maik Relaunch is fresh off the back of a superb remix on Thorin’s ‘End Game’ which saw rave reviews and high positions on top download portals. Here the temperatures are rising with a full on progressive monster in the making. Right from the off you get a real sense of deep rooted nature of the progressive vibe within this sound. Snappy kicks and wide hats lead beautifully to a driving bassline while melodic pads rise up through the sound. Melodies are used teasingly on the break before powering back into full on prog mode, quality stuff and one to watch no doubt.
Audio Noir is back after his last track ‘Floorlicker’ which performed very well indeed. Here we see his popular Rekonstruction style remix. It’s worth keeping an eye on this guy as there is much more original and remix work in the pipeline. Nice chunky kicks fill the intro and lead into a very cool synth and bass combi before the percussions begin to show and taking the track to a strong progressive groove. On the first break the track transforms with a huge retro styled riff that will be instantly recognisable and loved by all who remember it. The main break brings with it subtle melodic pads alongside an almost siren like synth that takes us right back to pure unadulterated progressive goodness.
Up next we have Yuriy From Russia and his superb remix. Yuriy has been busy on the remix front and just recently we seen his track ‘Do You Feel’ featuring Ange, perform very well indeed. Here he takes us deep into the darker side of progressive house. The intro boasts a brilliant kick that packs a huge punch, this is coupled with a rhythmic hi hat sequence and leads nicely to a cool flowing bassline. Percussive elements continue to build throughout the track before the bassline is joined by some serious synth work that ramps up the groove perfectly. The track takes a twist when some melodic synths make a show adding diverse textures to the overall sound. Stunning remix that will be sure to grab a lot of attention.
