SRUR regular Ozan Kanik joins forces with Mariano Santos and CLN83 for his “Family Love EP”. Ozan continues to pump out quality vibes and has a few releases on SRUR with two appearances on the Muzika series. DJ and Producer Mariano Santos hails from Argentina and he has a wealth of releases under his belt across many different labels including his own Santos Recordings. He also continues to DJ worldwide in the most exotic locations from Egypt to Brazil. Dutch DJ and producer CLN83 has provided remixes for SRUR in the past and also has a raft of top quality releases on various labels.
First up is Ozan & Mariano’s track “Broke Bad”, the intro sends out a tough kick with a low sub adding weight, percussions slowly build into a full on techno monster. A synth line rises up from the depths to dominate while sinister sounding FX create an intense vibe. On the break sweet ripples come through add very stark contrast to the proceedings, these soon dissipate and we’re back to pumping techno grooves, excellent stuff.
Next is Ozan & CLN83’s track “Neat & Clean”, cool sharp hats fill the intro alongside a thumping kick. The bass takes over as it reverberates through the sound while a pitched tone rises and falls creating a surreal, spacey type theme. Vocal samples tease in and out and the break builds up to a huge climax, after the break the track takes a twist with a superb, hypnotic riff dominating for the duration, quality stuff and a must on any playlist!

Based in London and enjoying residencies at top clubs, the guys run their own label Itch Records and they have also appeared on many other labels releasing everything from house, deep house, techno, electro and progressive tech.
The original mix is a wild ride into tech house, the track intros with a well rounded subtle vibe but soon transforms with a thick grungy feel on the bass and real crisp razor sharp hats over a cool thumping kick. Perfect fodder for the floors and will easily get the crowd rocking with a romp and a stomp!
Up first on remix duties is the return of techno master Tribal Warriors aka M.I.K.E.. TW has made a comeback with his latest track “08” on Basiks and that unique sound has stayed true. Today we see his talent applied beautifully to this track. Well crafted techno kicks and hats intro the tune with a simply amazing hook coming in soon after, deep tech house at its best here folks, listen and learn!
Amsterdam based Ozan Kanik is our next remixer and he delivers the goods in style, huge kick and offset bass intros with a mini break leading up to a full on pumping groove. On the main break a brilliant robotic vocal fits perfectly in the sound and then we kick right back into it for a huge banging sound.
Amsterdam native Ozan started as a DJ back in the late 90’s playing many Dam clubs and bringing something different to the crowds than the average DJ was doing. Now after a break we see him return with a couple of releases though various labels and this track “Enough”, backed up with two remixes, which is his debut on SRU.
The original mix is top quality, strong, solid deep tech house groove with a heart pounding drone of a bassline. Cool crisp hats are a contrast to the bass and we get a wonderful vocal sample throughout that has the power to hypnotise the mind. Very cool FX work adds weight on the break, very cool track.
D-Formation aka Dimos Carbajo is a Spanish DJ, producer and very popular remixer. With a huge amount of releases under his belt and having worked with some of the top names in house and techno, Dimos has built up the respect of many all over the world. Today he adds his midas touch with a superb take on the original. Pure pumping tech house at its best, high quality beats and percs with expert arrangements. The sounds just draw you in with a constant synth note being the main focus, on the break things heat up and crescendo with huge impact. This track will be a main component for many jocks all over.
USA based Gabriel Ben steps up to the mixing desk with a high octane stab of house goodness. Gabriel has a very impressive list of releases through many labels over the years and he has been complimented by none other than Carl Cox as “have a really good ear for music”. His career has spanned over two decades when he started as a DJ, he has travelled the world doing gigs and continues to deliver quality productions to this day. Here Gabriel turns up the energy levels, taking the deep bass and making it roll even more over some arm pumping beats. Great use of the vocal sample that rounds up this track perfectly, big big sound here!
