Audio Noir is back with another fine slice of progressive for our listening pleasure. “Revelation” comes backed up with a slew of fantastic remixes.
The Original Vox On mix intros with a heavy shuffle type groove on the percussion and drum arrangements. This soon delves into the deep recesses of progressive house as the bassline draws you in, very well crafted track with a diverse range of sounds to keep the ear trained. Subtle melodies are a cool contrast to the overall vibe and on the break an unexpected vocal comes through. Top notch track with a pulsating rhythmic groove.
Veteran Gai Barone steps up to remix duty with his Vox On Wax Remix. Gai is fresh off the back of a wonderful remix for Manu Riga & Nico Parisi’s track “Reborn” and is currently working on new material also. As usual we are treated to a masterclass in progressive vibes from Gai with a sound drenched in deep grooves. A subtle intro builds and builds up to a full flowing hypnotic rhythm with a host of FX doing a great job as the layers continue to build. The break releases a myriad of synths where you can lose yourself completely. Monster of a tune here that will be a perfect fit in many sets!
Italian DJ and producer Matteo Monero is next up on the remix. Matteo is a stalwart in the progressive scene having appeared on top labels like Mystique Music, Sudam and Baroque alongside the likes of Kintar and Loquai. Here he applies his own brand of progressive house and he does it in style. Solid beats create a steady flowing rhythm right from the off with FX adding texture to the sound. The percussions find their way into the track with crisp, sharp hats standing out. A deep bassline lingers in the depths while sweeping pads keep things moving alongside a much more prominent vocal, top quality stuff!
Melbourne based Narel beefs up the groove with his remix. Tougher edged vibe here with the beats and tight arrangements shining through. The deep bassline provides a well rounded groove which will have many floors shaking. Wonderful gated strings come through with the vocal matching up very well with the sound. The break winds things right down before powering back into full swing with an amazing melodic arp, very hard to keep still with this one, the floors are gonna love it.
Near the end we have Yuriy From Russia on the remix. Yuriy has just released two stunning tracks through our Progrez and Bonzai Progressive imprint and is shaping up to be a top draw in the progressive world. Here he adds a much more melodic composition with the bassline serving up some sweet sounds, the vocal works extremely well in this context and the myriad of sounds in the background fill the spaces brilliantly. Superb piano sequences are dotted throughout the track which really gives off a feeling good vibe overall, top quality!
To wrap the pack up the Original Vox Off mix is an added extra, for those who want to lose the vocal then this is for you.
Tokyo based producer Hisataka Ogura aka 06R returns to Green Martian with a true progressive stomper and a follow up to the original “Air” from 2012 which featured on Paul Oakenfold’s Flouressence Essential Mix in July 2012. “Air 2.0″ comes with four remixes, two of which are from outstanding artists.
The Original Mix intros with a real summer vibe, cool breaks and a rich vocal sample with a melody of guitar sounds lead us up to a deep droning bassline. The breaks build anticipation and when the four/four kicks come through the track explodes into a smooth and powerful terrace tune. The break produces a wealth of melodies and will get you right into the spirit of the moment. Loads to listen for on this with its myriad of sounds and a track that is sure to get a lot of attention, the perfect summer groove!
Blufeld is first up on the remix, this guy is churning out quality stuff on a regular basis. Not long after his third studio album and plentiful remixes, we see him apply his awesome style to this stunner. Utilising the original vocal for the super smooth intro before the tight kicks take over. Slightly tougher edge here with a gritty, punchy bassline thundering through the sound. On the break the track delivers a raw, organic sequence before getting back to the groove where a superb melody comes through giving stark contrast, awesome stuff yet again from Blufeld.
Melbourne based Narel aka Nick Simmons is fresh off the back of his last release on LCD Recordings “The Machines Where Dreaming” with his Warm Air Remix. A much deeper vibe is evident here as the bassline seems to dominate, and what a bassline it is, it winds its way through the groove effortlessly mesmerizing your mind. This is coupled with stunning arps and very subtle melodies which light up the track, another great summer party tune fit for any gig.
The 4 On The Floor Mix is the original without the breaks on the intro for those DJ friendly moments.
The Breaks mix is one of those tracks that would be THE perfect soundtrack to a setting sun anywhere in the world. A feeling of euphoria sweeps over you as the wall of sound cascades over your body bringing a complete sense of being at one wherever you may be at that time, quite brilliant!

Nick is a veteran on the EDM scene with releases on some classic labels and remixing for top artists over many years and with projects like this we are sure to see a lot more in the future.
The original mix gets things started with a nice thumpy bass over some beautiful sweeping pads and melodic synth. A steady solid groove builds with a bit more punch on the kicks and a strong deep bass giving lots of depth. On the main break a whole world of melodies explodes with some jaw dropping synth work, this gives an uplifting feel and will have any floor moving, this is something special!
On remix duties is none other than Airwave, quite simply, a legend. Here he applies his skills in style as he always does. Nice and smooth intro on the pads and then straight into a full on kick that builds to a superb grooving bassline. Expertly crafted percussions give off a flowing rhythm with strings adding layers and then on to a stunning break where we see melodies applied brilliantly in a huge cinematic setting. Once again Laurent shows us his true scope in creating a full on trance experience.
A little extra from Narel with an Ambient mix, all the melodies from the original given to us for total relaxation purposes and what a great job it does, wonderful!
