Mindgamers are back from their recent stint on Frisky Radio’s world tour when they stopped off in Talinn for the guys to do an exclusive set in which they played this track for the first time. These guys need no introduction really as they are now firmly rooted within the Bonzai sound. Their new track “The Crown” comes backed up with two top notch remixes.
The Original mix gets flowing with a cool percussion led intro that builds the rhythm nicely. A superb deep bassline soon takes over the sound and matches up beautifully with a tight drum arrangement. Vocal snippets give the track a punch while the synths rise up to epic heights. On the break the levels rise yet again with wonderful strings and an awesome female vocal before crashing right back into this solid slice of progressive house, enough to raise the roof at any venue and a must for any set.
Koen Mertens has been very busy of late with a round of brilliant remixes, here he makes no exceptions as he delivers his brand of prog with another great remix. Chunky kicks fade through on the intro as the vocal sits back on top of some tight percussions. The bassline rises up in a stealthy approach and before you know it you are locked into its groove, alongside this a wall of sound is forming with huge synths stacking up on top of each other. The break does a great job maintaining the vibe and the female vocal is the perfect companion. An intense build-up gets us back into full swing, a true prog monster that is not to be missed.
UK based Lloyd Trimmer aka Cordoba is next on the remix. Lloyd has seen releases on House Proud Records and Kushtee Records. As a DJ he has played at prestigious clubs such as London’s Ministry Of Sound, The Egg and Mango, he also co-founded Substance Promotions to progress the sound of House in some of the finest venues in Hampshire and Surrey. The remix takes the prog sound a little deeper with hypnotic rhythms and a wonderful deep bass that transforms as the track drives on. Very cool FX make a big play also and work perfectly with a tight drum and percussion arrangement. Sweeping synths and subtle melodies add texture alongside clever use of the vocal samples, great stuff!

10th installment in the Afterhour Trax series, this time with original tracks and remixes by Airwave, Moshic, Gai Barone, Audio Noir, Kintar, CJ Art, Michael & Levan and Stiven Rivic, Philthy Chit, Noa Romana, Deersky, Yuriy From Russia, Mindgamers, Angga, Cid Inc., Manu Riga, Franbeats, Thorin, Quadran, Beat Maniacs, deepAlexander, Eric Powa B, Zan Preveé, WayWork, Hector Sawiak, Chantola, J-Junior, AquAdro, Anthony Yarranton, JJ Grant, Digital Department and Crocy.
Based in Almelo, Netherlands, DJ and producer Thorin (Van Gelden) takes progressive house by the horns and churns out a superb cut entitled “End Game”. The track also comes with two top class remixes as well as the very impressive Original. Currently Thorin has been dabbling with new ideas in the studio and hopefully we will see the results of this soon. Aside from that he is ramping up his DJing with a trip to Belgium for the DJunkee hosted party, Insane in November.
The intro on the Original Mix takes no prisoners as retro inspired synths do their work. Big chunky kicks pack a punch and as the layers build a solid rhythm has taken hold. Lots going on within the sound and you will find yourself locked in and finding new paths with every listen. Sweet melodic plucks are a cool contrast to the robust synths which transform with every phrase. The break shows a myriad of sounds as the track builds back up and crashes straight into this full on prog stomper, superb stuff!
The very popular duo from Tallinn are at it again, Mindgamers aka Zas and Sanze dish out their recipe for fine teched up progressive vibes. The guys provide their usual stunning kicks and drum arrangement which always has huge floor appeal. The baseline has a nice bounce to it and will be sure to get the toes tapping in no time. Accompanying the baseline is a wonderful sub melody that itself has a huge impact. On the break the track is stripped bare to reveal a sweet melodic synth that soon dissipates as the main track kicks back in, great stuff from the guys and a must for any box.
Relaunch aka German based Maik Relaunch is at the mixing desk next with a stunner of a remix. Maik was first a clubber and then became inspired by the legendary Dorian Gray which set him on his DJ journey. Production soon followed and he was quickly affiliated with the likes of John 00 Fleming among others. Releases on Bonzai Progressive, Green Martian, LCD Recordings, Camouflage, JOOF, Borderline Music and Mistique Music over the years have marked Maik as a highly respected artist who is in great demand for remixes. The mix sets off in true progressive style as the baseline becomes the main focus with its rolling effect and sitting well beside a huge kick that will rock any speaker. Synths appear as the layers begin to form up and take us on a frenzied ride into a progressive house fuelled world. A proper prog track with hypnotic qualities and a track that will gain a lot of support, no doubt.
Talinn based duo Zas & Sanze aka Mindgamers are featured on the world renowned Frisky Radio as part of Frisky’s worldwide tour. The guys played an exclusive set filled with past, present and future hits out of the Bonzai stable among others. They are alongside other talented DJ’s from their homeland Estonia as Frisky seeks to showcase what this great country has to offer on the show ‘Frisky Loves Estonia’.
No doubt Mindgamers have been selected for their continued top notch productions, remixes and DJing performances which is a testament to the skills and vision the guys have. This is also a wonderful opportunity for the foresight shown through Bonzai Progressive to be recognised on a global scale.
So tune in and be sure to check out the dynamic duo as they belt out the tunes from artists like Jakhira, Chantola & Junior J, Diego Alves, Eric Powa B, Thomas Genchev, Matan Caspi and also including an exclusive first airing of their newest track “The Crown” which will be out in December this year.

Zas & Sanze are back with their latest works “Caprioska” which is backed up with two stomping remixes. The Tallinn based dynamic duo continue to churn out quality vibes and they now have a very impressive back catalogue consisting of original material and a ton of remixes.
The Original Mix sets us off with a superbly worked prog groove with tech influences. Beefy kicks and sharp hats provide a steady rhythm accompanied by cool house stabs. The bassline throbs through the track and adds extra weight to the rhythm while a fantastic vocal sample adds a strong texture, another top notch effort!
The first remix comes from Tribal Warriors aka M.I.K.E./Push. As we all know Mike is a very busy guy with DJing and a heavy studio workload but thankfully he has had time to revamp Tribal Warriors as it was one of his popular monikers. Keep an eye out for more TW material in the future. The remix intros with some very cool synth and FX sounds that lead up to a nice rounded kick and crispy hat combo. Lots of tech elements creep through here with the bass taking a dominant role, great use of the vocal here and some fantastic synth work gives this track a huge punch!
Yuriy From Russia provides the next remix, Yuriy has been well received since his first couple of tracks on Bonzai Progressive and Progrez. Here he delivers more of that quality with a well rounded progressive house groove. Nice and steady rhythms are built with minimal percussions and chunky kicks. The big contributor here is that bassline as it meanders through the sound with a warm lush vibe, stabby synths make their mark while on the break a short melodic pad gives way to this thumping prog groove.
