“What You Want” is a deep organic sounding track with a real tough and gritty edge. Heavy kicks and sharp percussions deliver a smooth rhythm while the bass gets down and dirty giving that raw feel. Fantastic vocal shrieks are a cool contrast and build up the groove perfectly. On the break some classic house chords fade through, great stuff!
“Feel The Love” hits the groovy deep and funky house nail right on the head. Superbly crafted drum sections keep the rhythm flowing alongside a great short vocal sample. The grooving bass is accompanied by stunning synth chords which add that funky flavour, the break is dominated with a high pitch string that fades out to reveal this solid groover once more, a must for any box.
“Jackin” is one of those tracks that will have any floor pumping. Strong deep house grooves with added funk coming out of the bouncy bassline. Crispy sharp hats brighten up the sound and another great vocal sample is evident. On the break the house vibes continue to flood through as we are teased with some classic sounding synths, fantastic stuff that will be a welcome slice in any set.
The title track “Rawaus” is the last track on this stunning EP. The house flavours keep on coming as that intro throws out a tight and solid drum and percussion arrangement. High strings fade through and take us up to a short drop were a cool vocal sample gets a showing before slamming into a full on house joint complete with a bassline that will get any ass shakin! This will be a real floor favourite for sure.
