The impressive Moshic is back at Bonzai Progressive with his equally impressive new cut entitled ‘Do It To Me Now’. Moshic’s unique sound is well renowned the world over and he continues to deliver top quality with all that he touches. This new track has been given the remix treatment by three of Bonzai’s popular artists which will definitely help get this track noticed.
The Original Mix intros with a very cool sequence filled with tight hats and percussions with a teasing bass whetting the appetite. Subtle kicks sit back and let the array of sounds do all the work. A rising pad creates an intensity throughout as the groove takes on a gritty feel with the vocal coming through brilliantly. The bass continues to bubble up from below adding a very smooth texture, another fine progressive vibe from Moshic!
Italian producer Gai Barone delivers two stunning remixes on this pack, the first one being his Starsk Remix. The intro boasts a strong and intense drone with chunky kicks and sharp hats building around it as well as some smooth plucked strings. The synths bring in a little melody to the groove while retaining a dark atmosphere. The break unleashes more of those plucks with some heavy FX adding to the already fierce groove, superb stuff from Gai!
Gai’s second offering here is his On A Train Remix which gets us moving with a strong kick with a nice clip on top. Powerfully deep pads rise up giving a real progressive edge to the sound while all around some fantastic percussion takes shape. A strong piercing vibe ensues as expertly crafted FX go to work, all this is shored up with a wonderful deep bass that sits perfectly in the background. Simply stunning and no doubt will gain much attention.
One of Bonzai’s longstanding popular artists Manu Riga takes up remix duties with his Progtrip Remix. Manu is a firm favourite within the progressive realm not only with his own outstanding productions but also for his remix work which always gets plenty of recognition. Here he intros with a brilliant thumping kick with a rolling effect underneath. A resonating bass lingers in the depths waiting to pounce. Tight percussions begin to form rhythmic patterns while a synth pad begins to rise. The bassline evolves beautifully into a proper full on progressive workout as it rolls along in curvy patterns that will have any floor rocking. Plenty of twists and turn on offer here and a track that is not to be missed.
Audio Noir is popping up all over the place at the moment with remixes on many tracks as well as his own material doing the rounds. Here he delivers a stunning remix in his unique progressive way. Very smooth and classic intro with a powerful kick and skipping hats getting us under way. Deep droning basses rise up building the tension before the track breaks with a beautiful vocal over those heavy pads. The track crashes back with those kicks but this time accompanied by an amazing hypnotic bass that pounds the speakers. A superb remix out of Australia which will be a must for any set and most definitely not to be missed!
Napalm aka Hungarian producer Nanai PalIt and D-Phrag aka Bulgarian DJ Ivan Filipov return to Bonzai Progressive with their latest offering ‘Tour De Force’ and comes backed up with two top notch remixes. The guys’ last outing was ‘Boiling Point’ which was very well received from all quarters.
The Original Mix intros strongly with nice chunky kicks and a soft hat combination. Deep droning basses rise from below giving an air of intensity to the sound which is further enhanced by fading synths and brilliant ethnically charged instruments. Dark grooves are formed from these sounds and culminate in serious progressive workout which is perfect fodder for those darker edged sets, brilliant!
The long serving Bonzai family member Manu Riga is up on remix duty with a wonderfully constructed cut. Manu remains a busy guy in the studio with lots of work on the go including his own material as well as a raft of future remixes which we are excited to see. Here he takes the track on its journey through the darker recesses of progressive house. Powerful basses attract a lot of attention here and are given stark contrasts with lush pads that linger far behind. A very cool ethnic vibe rings through the sound and is further enhanced by a superb vocal sample which is the perfect addition to the sound. Big strong grooves from Manu yet again and a must for any box.
The very popular Yuriy From Russia is next on the remix. Yuriy has been churning out top quality vibes for quite a while now and always adds his unique progressive twist to everything he touches. The remix intros with nice phat kicks which sets the scene for a deep, dark ride through the prog house spectrum. Lush pads are on offer and add a certain depth to the sound which works in harmony with the resonating bass. The break settles into a very smooth sequence before a rising effect takes us back to the full on prog grooves, stunning stuff from Yuriy and not to be missed.
Back from his last release on BP with “Reborn” alongside Manu Riga, Nico Parisi delivers “Caress” which comes with no less than five fantastic remixes. Nico has been very busy lately with his own productions and a stack of remixes, he also has a hectic DJ schedule with many gigs across Belgium. Recently he featured in the launch of a new concept night “INSANE” which is a product of DJunkee and Bonzai progressive. He will also feature at this year’s Bonzai Retro event in November with the crème de la crème of Belgian DJ’s.
The Original mix is a strong, solid slice of progressive house vibes. Snappy kicks and a subtle melodic sequence provide the intro with rising pads soon coming through. Percussions slowly build and form into a cool flowing rhythm while an early and intense build up leads us into a full on prog monster. Offbeat bass drives the track forward with excellent synth work keeping the intense nature on point. Wonderful stuff from Nico and a must have in any box.
First up on remix is Inkfish who are four Swedes. Mattias Lindblom, Jesper Lindqvist and brothers Andreas and Johan Hermansson. These guys run their own label, Inkfish Recordings with Mattias or Andreas taking care of the production side of things. Johan and Andreas do all the DJ work while Jesper is a self-styled Bez from Happy Mondays character. Together these guys have a very impressive list of releases across many top labels and now we see their first appearance on Bonzai Progressive. The remix intros with some cool FX, synths and pads before a nice chunky kick takes over. The bass delivers a deep grooving flow while rising pads add beautiful textures with subtle melodic hints. Solid track with a big punch!
The very popular Manu Riga is up next with his Sofia By Night Remix. After their last and very successful outing on “Reborn” it’s no wonder these guys are working together again, they click well in the studio and no doubt we will see a lot more from them in the future. The remix goes into full on mode with a massive snappy kick with a sharp click on top which really sets the scene up well for a trip down progressive lane. Some great FX and synth work give off subtle melodies with a very teasing vox lying in wait in the background. Superb bassline works wonders throughout the track and makes this a track you will never want to end.
Philthy Chit deliver a stunningly epic progressive house experience with their remix. The intro slowly builds with simple percussions and a hypnotic synth note before blazing into a driving deep bass led groove. Intensity rises with wonderful pads and an amazing vocal sample. The magic happens on the break with deep resonating synths and melodic sequences before getting back into a full blown prog monster. A sure fire hit and a definite must have for those progressive sets.
Next up on the remix is Eric Hubo whom Nico has worked with in the past. Belgium based Eric has featured on tracks from Nico’s Danza Records including “Metro”, “S.A.X.X.” and “Move Your Body” as well as works on LCD Recordings on “Romeo and Juliet”. His remixes have also appeared on “A State Of Trance Classics Vol. 7” back in 2012. The remix sets off with a smooth kick and offset bass which is the perfect foundation for a progressive house journey. Cool FX and well crafted percussion provide a steady rhythm before the track settles in for the duration as the bassline shines through. Sweet melodic pianos are the focus on the break as sweeping phased synth pads shore up the background. The track kicks back into the steady groove and a beautiful prog house record in born, superb stuff.
Yuriy From Russia is our next guest with his Dark Remix. Yuriy has been churning out top quality productions in recent times most notably with his latest offering “Do You Feel” featuring the vocal talents of Ange. Chunky kicks and sharp hats get us moving on the intro with a warpy, thick bass soon following. Sweeping synths begin to come through and they provide stark contrasts with the bass which makes for a cool dynamic. Blippy FX work adds texture to the sound and all the while the groove has built into full on progressive mode. The break brings forth those sweeping pads and builds back into the main groove with a wall of noise. Very intense and very epic piece of work which no doubt get attention from all quarters.

We open with the Album Mix, the intro alone will have you intrigued as a watery effect rises from the depths accompanied by hair raising ethnic vocals. It’s not long before the kicks ramp up the energy on an epic journey that lies ahead. Brilliantly crafted percussion arrangements build up layer upon layer to create a strong progressive groove while the bass drones away in the background drawing you in. The ever changing vocals are prominent throughout and are a very strong feature of the track with some beautiful synth work matching up perfectly. Just at the midway point the intensity of this track increases tenfold as a myriad of sounds clash in total harmony and a big surprise pops up in the shape of some classic piano, awesome! This is an experience not to be missed and a testament to the stunning talent shown in Manu’s work.
Veteran of the progressive sound Van Bellen is up first on the remix. Yoogie is responsible for some absolute stunning remixes and releases on Bonzai over the years and here he continues with the same forthright creativity that always inspires. To say we are in for an epic journey is an understatement, the track opens with a superb punchy kick with percussions supplying a cool underlay. The bassline creeps up out of nowhere and before you know it your locked into a full on progressive ride. Brilliant synth and pad work keep the ears trained with anticipation as the dynamics of the track flow effortlessly. The break reveals beautiful melodic sequences which leads us straight back into the pulsating rhythm, superb stuff!
The impressive LoQuai takes to the mixing desk next with a progressive masterclass. The ethnic vocal opens the track and then powers straight into a head on collision with chunky kicks, crisp hats a brilliant rolling bassline. LoQuai certainly takes the track deeper with dark grooves and minimal use of the vocal, when the vocal is used it creates full effect and this creates a wonderful dynamic within the sound. Intense strings rise and fall as this non-stop relentless groove weaves its magic across the spectrums, top notch indeed.
Finnish DJ and producer Cid Inc. aka Henri Hurtig debuts on Bonzai with a huge progressive monster. Henri is responsible for a massive amount of releases and remixes across many many labels and his talents don’t stop there as he also runs his own label Replug. Here he kicks off the remix with a nice chunky kick drum alongside a rhythmic shaker while the bassline rises up to form the basis of a true hypnotic experience. The bassline also forms subtle melodies from deep within and as the track progresses the intensity builds to that of merciless heights. The break reveals stunning sequences that provide respite before getting launched right back into this upfront progressive groove.
Gai Barone is back after a very successful remix on Manu & Nico’s “Reborn” with a fresh twist on progressive house. Gai has been hard at work fine tuning his productions and with results like this we sure are happy to have a great guy like this on board. “Lullaby” comes with two fantastic remixes that will blow your mind for sure.
The Original Mix is quite simply stunning, deep, hypnotic grooves that draw you right in and take control of your senses. Superb arrangement all round with tight drum patterns and rhythmic percussion keeping the flow. The bassline alone is enough to get right into your head as it ebbs and flows alongside top notch FX. On the break a huge sub bass takes control and some awesome synth work adds intensity before crashing back into this solid groover.
Airwave is up first on the remix, this artist has such a hectic schedule at the moment with festivals and parties taking his time alongside his studio work which in itself is epic! Here we see Airwave get into his breaks mode with stunning results. The track intros with calm serenity contrasted with underlying tension and builds up to a powerful thumping kick in breaks style. Melodies are abundant as they weave in and around the track while the bassline springs out of nowhere and adds true progressive depth to the vibe. The break offers up what Airwave does best and that is real intense melodic pads that allow the mind to wander and get lost in the realm of music, amazing.
The hugely talented Manu Riga is up next with his Ethnotic Mix. Manu is another of those artists that puts every effort into his projects to get maximum effect out of his sounds. Much much more to come from Manu in the future so stay tuned. An arped bassline rules supreme as it modulates and filters through many different phases then settles into a full on pulsating and hypnotic rhythm. All the while a multitude of FX are going off in the back ground and these add perfectly layered texture to the sound, another fine example of progressive vibes that will most certainly be a feature on many playlists.

The ever dependable Zas & Sanze aka Mindgamers deliver the goods yet again with their superb remix. The guys have a real knack for getting the most out of a sound and this is no exception. From the start you are thrown right into a party atmosphere as the track pours out a strong, funky vibe. The bassline oozes funk and the synths etch out one hell of a cool groove. The break sends up a surreal melodic sequence which works so well with the big rising chords before powering back into a full on ass shaking groove.
Turning the track more toward the progressive scope is Henrik Kantola aka Chantola. Henrik has a very impressive repertoire and has worked with top artists, currently he is working on a new studio album which we hope to see very soon. We caught up with Henrik not too long ago for a quick Q&A so keep a lookout for that soon. The track intros with a deep progressive vibe, the kicks stand right out and a wonderfully deep bassline holds the sound up brilliantly. The original mix fits the Green Martian sound so well, pumped up progressive house with a dash of euphoria. The track intros with a tight kick and percussion arrangement while a sweet melody builds up in the background, this is coupled with some beautiful vocal sequences. On the break melodies spring up with an ethereal pad and more of those sweet vocals, a subtle climax gets us back to the groove. Fresh and energetic vibes to get the floors moving.
Airwave steps up first on remix duties with his Hazelnut Remix and again he delivers pure quality. Solid kicks and distant melodies provide the intro and the track gains momentum in true Airwave style. A deep progressive vibe ensues with intensity being generated in the quality synth work, on the break we are treated to a sublime trance experience with big pads and expert melodies before getting back into a strong pumping groove. One to watch!
The very busy Manu Riga is up next with his Vanilla remix. Adriaan is currently finishing off his artist album with many collaborations included, he has a fast growing back catalogue of quality tunes to date with much more to come. The track begins with a cool steady rhythm, chunky kicks and crisp hats are backed up with a throbbing bass while the melody builds up nicely. The break delivers excellent pads and that brilliant vocal sample, a strong progressive track that would be a great addition on any set.
Beglian DJ and producer Andy Verschaeren aka Max Cue gives us his Strawberry remix. Andy has been obsessed with music since he was 12 and began producing at 16 using Fruity Loops and later Ableton. His tracks have been released on labels like USA Import, Progrezo and more, his tracks have also been supported by DJ’s such as Laurent Garnier and Paul Oakenfold. This remix intros with a superb kick and percussion, the bassline powers the track from below with a chunky deep vibe. The now familiar melody adds a cool contrast and the vocal works very well in this setting, as the track builds the melody becomes much more intense and you will find yourself locked in to this groove, top stuff!
