Russian producer EmLab debuts on our Green Martian imprint with the superb ‘Sirenes’ and comes with two top notch remixes.
The Original Mix provides a smooth melodic intro as a rising synth fades through alongside a nice chunky kick and cool percussions. The track bursts into a wonderful driving prog house stomper as a deep bass pulsates through the grooves. The melodies evolve beautifully in tandem with the bass and dominate the break while a sharp guitar sequence takes shape. These sounds blend so well together resulting in a rich tapestry of sounds that would sit well in any set, top class stuff.
The very popular Jimmy Galle steps up for remix duty and delivers a stunning slice of tech fuelled, prog house vibes. The intro boasts a tight drum arrangement with big, phat kicks and crispy clear percussions. A resonating deep bass shores up the rear and morphs its shape occasionally. Very subtle melodies sit back creating surreal atmospheres as the beats take control and stave the way for some very cool FX which works wonders on the sound, superb!
Delphi returns to Green Martian after his well received debut ‘Mariana Trench’ with a stunning energetic workout on the remix. Nice and smooth pads ebb and flow on the intro before a huge kick slams in forcing you to react. The energy levels rise as a massive offset bass gets the track into full on mode. Throughout the track a wonderful, almost metallic sounding riff gets a lot of attention while on the main break some sweet melodies sit back and tease before being unleashed creating an uplifting vibe. One to watch here and a definite must in any box.
January 2014 edition of Oakenfold’s Full On Fluoro show featured multiple tunes from our own stables! You can spot in the mix Nico Parisi – Caress (Philthy Chit Remix), Audio Noir – Floorlicker (Original Mix), Airwave & Jimmy Galle – Karaba (Airwave Mix), Matan Caspi – Muddy Dreams (Original Mix), and also Mindgamers – The Crown (Cordoba Remix)!
Joining forces for the first time we have two of the finest producers on the circuit with a multitude of quality releases between them. Airwave and Jimmy Galle deliver a stunning slice of prog with “Karaba” which comes with their own plus two additional top notch remixes. Laurent is currently working his way around many collabs with quite amazing results while Jimmy is his usual busy self churning out awesome music on a regular basis. Both guys come to the desk armed with a wealth of experience which they have pumped into this epic release, expect to get blown away by the sheer quality within the sound on this release.
Airwave’s mix intros with a cool percussion led sequence that builds up to a solid progressive groove with a tribal element. Laurent’s distinct atmospheric vibes shine through as a myriad of sounds blend in perfect harmony. The break takes us into a world of melodic guitar plucks with superb pads rising through the background. The track kicks back in style and continues on a purely progressive rhythmic journey, wonderful stuff yet again from a master of his craft.
Jimmy’s mix takes on a much more house orientated vibe with a strong progressive slant. The track gets moving with a chunky kick as percussions ease their way into the grooves. Deep basses take this track more towards the house side of the tracks alongside a tribal tinged vocal. Flowing rhythms are quickly established and as we approach the break the tracks signature guitars come through. Very well crafted track which would go down well in any set.
DJ and producer Crocy delivers a fine slice of prog house with his usual tight arrangements. Nice and steady flowing rhythms emanate from cool kicks and superb percussions giving off a groovy house vibe. Bright melodic plucks add contrast to the deep bass and on the break subtle synth stabs peek through before easing back into this fine house joint, superb stuff!
Alexey Samotarev is up next with a sublime prog house cut. Alexey’s last release “Odyssey” gained a lot of support through our Progrez imprint and he sure knows how to deliver the goods. Here he attacks the remix with a focus on the guitar sounds from the original. A super tight drum section with very cool percussive elements sit over a swirling pad as the guitar licks echo throughout the sound, big house grooves abound on this and a sure fire hit in many sets.
Zolex returns after the successful “Assault” on Bonzai Progressive. “Vette Jahren” comes packed to the gills with six fantastic remixes from a variety of artists, making this a must have pack.
The Original Mix sets off with a tough edged techno signature as the bass and kicks combine nicely. Subtle note changes on the bass add a cool bounce to the sound as the percussions build a steady rhythm. The track builds in intensity as a vocal sample comes through and on the break things take a darker twist before getting right back into the action, superb stuff!
Danish producer Soren Aalberg is back for more remix goodness after his last stint on Zolex’s “Assault” back in May of this year. Soren’s New Dawn remix certainly beefs up the sound with his effort, big burly kicks with a brilliant offset bass. Great FX work also comes through with some sublime synths going off in the background.
Antwerp based producer and DJ Jerry May is up next with his Boter Bhlum Remix. Jerry grew up with the sounds of Acid House which led him onto being a DJ and in the last few years he has had the chance to perform at many top events across Europe. In 2010 he took up producing with firm results making him one to watch. His remix strips the original to its core and spits out a rolling, pumping groove. The bassline provides most of the jump as it pumps mercilessly. Cool use of the vocals and all this is backed up with a super tight drum arrangement.
Jimmy Galle throws us another of his fantastic remixes in his great style that we all love here at Bonzai. The first thing to hit you here is the massive thump off the kicks which are contrasted with a plucky synth riff. A much more organic sounding rich burrows its way into the sound and is matched well with the well crafted vocal samples, top stuff again from Jimmy!
Rion Oidua delivers a solid remix which takes on a much more tougher vibe. Superb intro with the percussions setting up the groove, the kicks come in with gusto and the track is on course for a techno fuelled ride! Vocal snippets pop up throughout before the track fades out and comes back in with a stunning bassline that really gets things moving. Definitely one to check out here and sure to be featuring on many playlists.
metrONomes aka Jon ManimaL & Magros hooked up their Dark Mix and dark it is. The intro is a sub woofers wet dream as the low frequencies pound out a wall of sound. Snappy kicks are soon added giving stark contrasts as the percussions build up the rhythms smoothly. Darkly sinister and minimal techno from the guys that will surely make a splash!
The Revolving Junkie aka UK based producer Paul Kieran delivers a fine remix indeed. Phat kicks provide the intro to a track that locks you in from the get go. The baseline adds a cool bounce to the track as synth stabs give off a funky element. Again we see the vocal applied very well which gives this track a cool signature. Very club friendly vibe perfect for any set.

Belgian producer Jimmy Galle teams up with Dimitrius for their “F_ck EP”, a solid two track cut with lots of deep tech flavour.
“F_ck” intros with a chunky low end thump on the kick, the hats are toned down to give the kick prominence and this works brilliantly. The bass is almost secondary to the resonance from the kick and together they are a powerful force. Vocals sample filter through and some top notch FX add great detail on this track. The break descends into a surreal moment with a dark and eerie feeling, brilliant stuff from this duo.
“Just A Dream” gives us a tight arrangement and more of those quality kicks with the percussions taking a back seat to make way for the stunning FX work. Very surreal in parts with strong rising strings and melancholic pianos. One for the darker sets and one that will raise a few eyebrows.
Popular Belgian producer and remixer Jimmy Galle is back with another of his fine creations. “Chocola” serves up a real progressive trance treat and comes backed up with three fantastic remixes.
The original mix fits the Green Martian sound so well, pumped up progressive house with a dash of euphoria. The track intros with a tight kick and percussion arrangement while a sweet melody builds up in the background, this is coupled with some beautiful vocal sequences. On the break melodies spring up with an ethereal pad and more of those sweet vocals, a subtle climax gets us back to the groove. Fresh and energetic vibes to get the floors moving.
Airwave steps up first on remix duties with his Hazelnut Remix and again he delivers pure quality. Solid kicks and distant melodies provide the intro and the track gains momentum in true Airwave style. A deep progressive vibe ensues with intensity being generated in the quality synth work, on the break we are treated to a sublime trance experience with big pads and expert melodies before getting back into a strong pumping groove. One to watch!
The very busy Manu Riga is up next with his Vanilla remix. Adriaan is currently finishing off his artist album with many collaborations included, he has a fast growing back catalogue of quality tunes to date with much more to come. The track begins with a cool steady rhythm, chunky kicks and crisp hats are backed up with a throbbing bass while the melody builds up nicely. The break delivers excellent pads and that brilliant vocal sample, a strong progressive track that would be a great addition on any set.
Beglian DJ and producer Andy Verschaeren aka Max Cue gives us his Strawberry remix. Andy has been obsessed with music since he was 12 and began producing at 16 using Fruity Loops and later Ableton. His tracks have been released on labels like USA Import, Progrezo and more, his tracks have also been supported by DJ’s such as Laurent Garnier and Paul Oakenfold. This remix intros with a superb kick and percussion, the bassline powers the track from below with a chunky deep vibe. The now familiar melody adds a cool contrast and the vocal works very well in this setting, as the track builds the melody becomes much more intense and you will find yourself locked in to this groove, top stuff!
