Based in Tel Aviv, Hilal is no stranger to the Bonzai stable with releases on Bonzai Progressive, Howz Choonz, Mint & Mustard and a few remixes and appearances on compilations on Bonzai Basiks. “Up In The Air” is Hilal’s full Basiks debut and what we get is a full ride into techno utopia with all the trimmings you’d expect.
The title track kicks us off in style with a minimal intro, classic kick and FX’d percussion lead up to a stomping deep bass and some very nice synth work. On the break a melody is unexpected but creates a cool atmosphere with heavy synths and pads, then it blows up into a solid techno groove once again, superb stuff!
“Let’s Go” is a huge sound, heavy hitting low ends with a myriad of samples, lots of funk on this one with parts giving an industrial feel. The break is a total surprise which will have floors quaking in their dancing shoes, so be ready for that!
Finally we have “When Two Become One”, another minimalistic intro building gradually to a big club friendly vibe. Chunky kicks and sharp percs over an offset bass that twists and morphs with each bar, very surreal synth pad adds an extra layer to this hybrid sound. Special stuff happening here which we think will perform very well on the circuit.

EPISODE 98: Jimmy Galle – What Women Want (Eyepatch Recordings)
Jimmy is born on August 17th in Luik aka Liege in Belgium. As his parents were boatmen he had to attend boarding school from the age of 6 onwards. To overcome the loneliness of boarding school his parents bought him a walkman. That event literally plugged him in in music!
He listened a lot to music via tapes and the radio and developed a health preference house music.
After a long period of nagging and begging his parents he finally got the best birthday present ever on his 15th birthday: a music mixer and double deck cd player. Every free second of his time went into his devotion to music.
2 years later Jimmy got the chance to prove himself at a cool club in Antwerp: Het Eilandje.
Success was immediate: he got his first residency!
Not long before he got interested in making his own music. With his savings Jimmy bought his first PC with a sound card and a Korg keyboard. After a few years he discovered his own sound and at the beginning of 2004 he released his first record: Jim-Y – Digital Trumpets. In the meantime he was working on a project with his best friend Ruly. Jimmy had finished a new demo for which he had the perfect voice in mind and boldly he sent it over under the project name R & Y to his favorite vocalist and singer. And guess what! Only 2 weeks later he got contacted by Jan Johnston. Jan had already written the lyrics and called for a date to do the recordings for this song, that is how R&Y Meets Jan Johnston – Its Cold Outside was born.
This single was released in 2007 with remixes from Filterheadz and Sied van Riel.
In 2008 Morning On The Terrace got released on the label Bonzai Fiesta.
At the end of 2008, Ruly decided to stop with the project, and that was when Jim-Y changed into Jimmy Galle. Jimmys sound was different as a solo dj/producer. After this period different productions and remixes appeared on different labels.
Jimmy has plaid and is still playing in many known Clubs and on many events such as: Noxx, La Rocca, Café D’ Anvers, Industria, Chakra Party, The Factory, Lazurra, Petrol, De Rodenburg (NL), TranccSession, Playboy Deluxe, De Cinema, Space, Wicked, BBC, De Kaai, Red & Blue, Turbulance….

Markus had only 1 reason to start producing music: LOVE FOR MUSIC
After a couple of years producing quietly in his little studio Markus got the attention of nobody less than Jens Lissat himself who asked him to remix some of his productions. Under the alias TACHIONES Markus released some remixes on labels like Toolroom, Perctraxx and others.
Not much later Markus bumped into an old friend: Timo Manson who offered Markus to release is first very own EP which was released on MusicCity Rec. Soon after that Markus music could be found on the label Audiodevot.
After that things happened very fast. His following album with the title Antitoxin reached the top 30 on Beatport. Almost at the same moment he released his album Etektronic Rush under the disguise The Sons Of Mr Miygai. With all these tremendous releases it was no wonder that Markus suddenly got to play in many events as solo artist as well as under the project Sons Of Mr Miygai. He performed on Ruhr In Love in Oberhausen and in Clubs like Toy in Stuttgart and at Houskeeper. After many successful productions Markus ultimate dream came true: a release on one of the legendary Bonzai labels which pushed him onto a new level of production quality.
Markus does not like to be categorized and tagged but rather prefers to surprise music-lovers and fans with a brand new sound experience with each release. He loves to blend new sounds and technology with his love for the sound of long past days.
Markus makes music for the single listener and not for the masses!
