For Blufeld electronic music is the pulse of life. Evocative of all genres, yet guided by a set of dynamics and instrumentation very much of its own unique identity, it breathes a type of emotion to a degree that can only be reached via the imaginative use of synthesizer and drum.
Blufeld has been captivated and completely mesmerized into a 3 dimensional world of sound, and endeavours to maximize all levels of the sonic and emotional spectrum so as to reach and tug at the heartstrings of people who love electronic music.
Blufeld is a craftsman with a deep sense of care and love for the output and quality of his productions; a producer who works solo to use sound and imagination to output everything thats inside his heart and mind to create some of the most complex and deepest emotive tracks in progressive trance music.
Blufeld is becoming ever increasingly recognised for his luscious progressive trance sounds, with key releases and remixes signed to labels such as ‘Bonzai’ & ‘Green Martian’ and also including his own label imprint ‘Actuate Recordings’.
With more tracks set for release during the course of 2011, the future will prove to be very exciting for Blufeld……
Quadran started in 1995 with the very first single of the illustrious Bonzai Trance Progressive label, now more than 15 years later French producer Philippe Van Mullem is still around.
Setting the tone in 1995 for an entire trance scene that has evolved to what we know it today, he was one of the very first artists to combine vocals on trance music. His single Eternally became an instant Europe wide club hit and it was at the same time the opening release for the Bonzai Trance Progressive label.
Quadran isn’t the only project Philippe is doing, he’s also release as Innertales, Philippe Van Mullem, … each marked a different subgenre in trance music over the years.
Today he’s also evolved just as so many producers into a more distinct sound, a sound that very well fits the new and freshed Bonzai Progressive sound.
Zodiacal Light is a producer from the Houston, Texas, area. He has been producing Trance, Progressive Trance, and Progressive House for over 6 years now. Zodiacal Light discovered electronic music in the early 80s via the Kraftwerk album “Computer World.” Being primarily a guitarist, he concentrated on rock and metal and even formed several bands. Upon discovering computers in the late 90s, Zodiacal Light set music aside for a while. An interest in electronic music was rekindled after hearing live dance club DJ sets on FM radio in the early 2000s. Soon after that, he discovered Trance though live DJ sets on the internet. Computers and music merged.
Zodiacal Light had already been tinkering around with music production software. He became serious about electronic dance music production and learned all about it through web pages, web forums, and producer friends acquired along the way. Zodiacal Light’s music can be described as progressive, melodic, and mood setting.
To date, Zodiacal Light has had 3 EPs released through Bonzai Progressive labels Green Martian and Android Records. Several remixes have been released through Bonzai as well. His remix of Lost Edit’s MK Ultra was included on the “Best of Bonzai Progressive 2007-2008″ compilation. Several other Bonzai compilations include his tracks.
The releases keep coming, so stay tuned.

Philthy Chit (aka Phil Taylor & Chitra Kumar) are the resident dj’s at Manchester based progressive house night AGENDA. Having successfully run the night on a monthly basis for the past 3 years, hosting the best dj’s in the trance & progressive scene, the pair have recently begun focussing on producing their own music.
Their first track “Southbound On The Northern Line” was signed to Bonzai Progressive and was released in September 2011 with a Citizen 42 remix. The track received support from the likes of Airwave, Thorin van Gelden, as well as entering the Audiojelly prog house chart at number 2 and staying in the top 10 for the next 6 weeks.
Their most recent relase “0.8”, a dark driving prog trance track, has now been signed to Bonzai and is due for release on Green Martian Records, along with an excellent deep remix by Manu Riga.
